Luxury Year round log Cottage, located in beautiful Kawartha Hideaway on the Upper Buckhorn Lake. Beautiful views and breathtaking sunsets, one of a kind property.
1.5 hrs from GTA
Enjoy hot tub, paddle board, canoeing, waterfront fire pit, BBQ, fishing, cozy fire place, free WIFI, AC, Fully equipped high end kitchen, private dock, quiet treed neighborhood, all the amenities for an outstanding getaway! 10 minutes drive to Buckhorn City Centre. Near to Golf Courses, shopping and dining, hiking, etc.5 Bedrooms & 3.5 bathrooms . Fully equipped high end kitchen with dishwasher, fireplace, living room , washer and dryer. TV WiFi, streaming service, books.
Ping pong table and hot tub.
BBQ on Deck.
Private Dock, it can be used for 30 foot boat.
Outdoor fire pit (We provide the wood!).
No neighbors nearby.
Seasonal lake toys: two paddle boards, two canoes, basic fishing rods & life jackets (Lake items available from May 1st to October 31st).

Very nice home and a nice area especially for bringing your own boat, and for using the canoe and paddle boards. The small beach area and shallow approach was great for the kids and for launching the sup boards. The water side yard is level to the walkout and the lake so no steps to have to go down to get to the water - excellent for small children. Lots of fish to catch right in the channel. Numerous birds to see. The sauna was a nice feature as well. A couple of issues with the appliances were brought to the owners attention. While generally clean, the house could use a thorough once over - dusting. Families should know there are three bedrooms, plus one open loft sleeping area and one open bunk bed sleeping area in the lower level. We enjoyed our 10 day stay.

Great place for a group stay, very accurate to listing, great location. Nice to have kayaks and canoes there to get out on the lake and fish. Bbq, Hot tub and sauna in good working condition. Fire pit and backyard perfect for fire after dinner.Very good and speedy communication prior to stay and at check in,All in all great stay

All the amenities

This cottage has everything you could possibly want while at the cottage. The check in was super simple. The cottage was extremely clean and organized. Everything listed in the post is true. We had lots of room for fun playing corn hole, washers, spike ball on the lawn, fishing off the dock, soaking in the hot tub after being out fishing or swimming in the boat. We spent lots of time on the water in the kayak and paddle board. We rented a jet ski and it was a great location to ride one right to the dock. The kitchen is fully stocked. We loved the little touch of snacks being left for us. The bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. It was a bonus to have access to a washer and dryer. There was only one drawback and it is not in the owners control and could just be this particular summer( due to weather), there were many weeds in the area which deterred some from swimming in the water. Many great memories made. We would recommend to anyone.

Family getaway

The grounds are beautiful and watching sunsets at night on the deck are fantastic. The cottage is very nice and has plenty of room to accommodate a large group either inside or out. There is plenty to do from paddle boarding/kayaking/canoeing/fishing/hiking or just enjoying the sounds of the birds while looking out to the water . We enjoyed meals on the deck in the evenings and sitting by the fire pit at night. Our kids enjoyed the ping pong table and arcade games and they came in handy when we had bad weather. Relaxing in the hot tub at night after a day of activities was an added bonus. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and Marat was prompt in answering any questions we had. Doesn't get much better than this

From when we walked in, till the moment we left was amazing. Great activities, lots of space, very private and has everything you need. Definitely recommend to anyone with large groups. Can't wait to stay again one day!
