I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Hampton Inn by Hilton due to a serious safety failure. After discovering an issue with the smoke detector in our room, I contacted the front desk expecting it to be repaired or replaced. Instead, staff removed the smoke detector from the wall entirely and left the room without installing a replacement. As a result, I was left to sleep in a hotel room with my two young children and no functioning smoke detector. This is not a minor inconvenience — it is a major safety violation. Smoke detectors are a basic, legally required safety feature in any hotel. Removing one without immediately replacing it is unacceptable and placed my family at unnecessary risk. I expect management to address how this was allowed to happen and to provide appropriate compensation for the unsafe conditions we were subjected to. I also strongly encourage the hotel to review its maintenance and safety procedures to ensure no other guest — especially families with children — is put in this position. Until this is resolved properly, I cannot recommend staying at this property.

Although we made the best of it there was what we were told 1 worker on a busy weekend My TV did not work and I was told there was nothing they could do. Also there were no conditioner or hand soap and they told me that I had to come down to get it When I came down that 1 person who was working was outside smoking! A homeless person was outside the pool area watching children swim and also signaling the middle finger to people who were staying Later that evening I came downstairs to see that same homeless person using facilities and refusing to leave. So i decided not to buy water from the snack area and went back to my room One positive is the housekeeper I believe her name was Teki, she was a very kind and hard worker !!!

Started off terrible the young man at the counter was very quick and condescending. Went upstairs room was way smaller than advertised. Couldn't accommodate us with a extra bed because said it was a fire hazard. Beds were super super hard. Talk to our friends in a different room and their bed was so soft they had to put pillows underneath them. Then in the morning went to take a shower I had lukewarm water by the time my wife went in there was no hot water at all. I complained to the desk the girl was very nice and gave me the general manager's card and I will be calling to complain!

Room was large and clean and the hotel was in a safe area. The breakfast was very skimpy each morning and it has less food available than much cheaper hotels. Other than the lacking breakfast options, I had an all around good stay.
