When traveling to eastern PA to visit relatives, I have stayed here for over 30 years and have had no complaints. Even though they have loads of parking spaces around the hotel, they are now charging $5 for a parking fee.(I'm not sure if that is per night or visit-have to check the bill.) I'm parking often in the exact same space I have parked in before, but now have to pay for it! They always had wonderfully comfortable mattresses, but it appears they got new mattresses and they're not half as comfortable. I had to ask for several blankets so I could make a pallet on top of the bed to sleep on, as the first night my body ached from sleeping on a much firmer mattress. Some will love that type of mattress, but I didn't.

In a day when many hotels are less than clean, even when rated a “4 star” this was very clean. From the lobby to the hallways to the room, it was better than I had hoped for. Great experience.

HIGH "Fives," (minus the stove.)

Biggest downer was lack of instructions on how stove operated. Storm coinciding with our reservations had us "staying in" & cooking food we had brought "just in case." Other than that minor issue, it was 5 stars!!!!!

Our room just wasn’t very clean. Floor was sticky, there were hair and eyelashes behind the bathroom faucet. The duvet and bed cover were both dirty and the duvet was way too small; it probably would’ve fit a full size bed and we had a king. There was old dirt around the light switches and it was very obvious, as soon as we opened the door, that the room had been smoked in.

Room was very clean, large and comfortable. Breakfast included great coffee and a lot of good choices (no yogurt though). Front desk was helpful.
