The first impression was great, but then our toilet clogged the first night and we were told to use the public bathroom as there was no one on site to fix it till morning. The toilet never got fixed and even the public toilets were clogged. The shower pressure was minimal, and the water temperature was lukewarm at best. We did not stay the second night as we had planned.

Very, very nice worth the price great location

The hotel is beautiful and very close to the Valley forge Hotel casino where we had an event. I love the room. We had a king suite. The only thing that I can say that I didn't think was excellent was our check-in. The representative of the desk was kind of indifferent. I think I just prefer more friendly experience. But overall very highly recommend this hotel.

Clean room, great service at the front desk, good breakfast with multiple options. There were some water issues while we were there due to previous storm but they were communicative about when it would be off (briefly) while they repaired. Also liked the evening drink options downstairs with outdoor patio. All in all a very nice stay!

Love the location of this hotel tucked away on quiet side street - very peaceful and relaxing place to sleep. Comfortable beds and very clean are top of my list for hotel. Need more choices for breakfast like yogurt and more coffee choices too. Staff very helpful. Overall wonderful place to stay.

Clean, fast efficient check in. Although it seemed only one person at check in and there was a line, staff person graciously got us an extra blanket when requested. Room is clean, had broken shower handle but still worked. We did call after we had checked out to ask about an item we may have left behind and our concern was addressed courteously, our room had not been cleaned yet. We called a day later to follow up on the lost item and got a snarky comment from the person answering that she had over 100 check ins that day and was working by herself so no, she couldn't check. hotel is most likely understaffed but otherwise an adequate stay.

Having stayed at so many hotels, I have never experienced such unprofessional service. My child was injured during a competition and couldn’t continue with the third day, so after finishing on the second day, we asked the front desk if we could check out a day early. The staff member, Gloryelle, said since we booked through Expedia, there was nothing she could do. So I contacted Expedia, and they said it should be possible—they just needed to call the hotel to process the early checkout. A few minutes later, the Expedia representative told me, unfortunately, this hotel has a very strict no-refund policy. I tried again with Gloryelle, but she said she couldn’t make the decision and that she would get scolded by the manager. I asked if I could speak to the manager directly, but she said no, that she hadn’t been able to reach the manager for over a week and that the manager was currently unavailable. At that point, I realized continuing to press would only waste my energy. As a business owner myself, hearing those two lines from her made it clear—either this employee has received no professional training, or this hotel trains its staff to avoid problems rather than solve them. If that’s the case, this will definitely be a hotel I will not choose again for our annual May competition trips.
