The owner was very easy to work with and let us check in early. There are a few simple things that could be done to improve the property- update chairs and fix some drywall issues and gate. Otherwise it was comfortable and good location for us to get to the hockey game. Pool area was great and overall it was a nice week.

Easy to get around Phoenix

We enjoyed the stay. We dealt with water temperature and pressure issues, but nothing we couldn't deal with. Property Manager was very helpful. If you're not used to being on first floor with condo residents above you, you will deal with heaving walking on your head and noisy at times.

Close to everything!

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was great. Check in process was a breeze. The pool wasn’t the cleanest, but our young kids didn’t seem to mind. We loved how close it was the shopping, Papago park, the Zoo, Tempe town lake and the airport!

TEMPE CONDO

My paddling buddy and I had a wonderful stay at David's condo in Tempe. We were in Tempe for a dragon boat paddling camp and stayed through the weekend for the Arizona Dragon Boat Festival races. The condo is decorated very modern and the unit is very comfortable, with all the items you would need for a week's stay. Beds were great and it was nice to actually have two master suites. We hung out at the pool and hot tub after practice. Pool temps a bit chilly since it is unheated. David was attentive and answered texts quickly, when we had questions. Plus the weather was great! Highs in the 80's and cool to the 50's in the morning, making for great fun in the sun. We hope to book again. Thanks! Elaine

Good experience

We are very experienced with VRBOs and this property is clean and well equipped. The complex is well maintained and it felt safe and secure. We have family in there area and will use this property again when visiting Tempe.

Pleasant Surprise

From the time we unlocked the door and walked in, we were pleasantly surprised by the decor and all the amenities that came with this condo. From a well-stocked kitchen to plush robes, we didn’t have to spend anything extra except for our food. The owners didn’t skimp on anything to make our stay comfortable and enjoying. The only small issue was that the patios’ cobwebs needed attention. Thank goodness it was too hot and we were too busy to sit out and enjoy them. The owners reached out to us to make sure everything was running smoothly. This condo was centrally located for all our sightseeing adventures. We would highly recommend this home away from home!

Clean/modern feel, well equipped, close to many things

Thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and the proximity to Tempe Marketplace, Tempe Town Lake, ASU, and Scottsdale. Bright, clean, and modern - we used the kitchen for most meals. Coffee machine was an added plus. Beds were comfortable and linens were incredibly soft. Plenty of towels and robes were a nice touch. Bedrooms had plenty of space for clothing. Washer and dryer were key. Covered parking space helped in the 105 degree heat. Two community pools were small but suitable. David was quick to reply to questions. Would stay again for sure. Great condo with a lot of extras.

The condo itself was great and owner had a lot of little items supplied so you didnt need to worry about them (coffee, spices, etc). The bottle of champagne was a nice extra. The property was quiet and well kept. The only detractor was the trash cans at the pool were overflowing from the beginning of the week and were never emptied. I would certainly recommend the condo to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Gorgeous place with everything you would need truly a home away from home.

The property is a gated community, two pools, close to shopping, ballparks, even a Waffle House a couple blocks away 😊 The condo is beautiful, fully equipped with anything you could need and then some. It was nice to do laundry before leaving with a washer and dryer in the unit. We hope to come and stay again.

The condo itself was very nice. Decorated tastefully and stocked with everything necessary.

We came to the area specifically to attend ballgames st Sloan park. Although only 1.5 miles away, the walk was through an industrial/business park on Smithroad. So we felt more comfortable driving. We had planned on using the pool and grounds on the days we did not attend games. However, the grounds were not walk- friendly. The pool water was very cold ( no heater) and not very welcoming, could definitely use some landscaping. There were no bathrooms at the pool either. For the price, we will probably stay at a hotel if we return to the area.

GREAT LOCATION

The property is basically just of 101 and University so it's very convenient to drive somewhere. Even better is a light rail station roughly 4 blocks south. The rail takes you into downtown Mesa (Desert Eagle Brewing!) or north Phoenix. The Sleepy Dog Brewing is about 2 1/2 blocks west on University. Also very good. The 2 master suites worked out very well. Having your own space is great! Ample towels and VERY soft robes provided as well as pool towels. And the owners provide items in the bathrooms that add a nice touch (lotion, kleenex, qtips). The kitchen had plenty of room to move around while several people are cooking (we ate most of our meals in). Maybe a few more pots/pans but adequate. UNBELIEVABLE amount of spices in the kitchen as well as napkins, tea bags, etc. Close to Sprouts and a Trader Joes a bit further. If you're here for a week take the time to drive to east Mesa's farmers market. I know there are neighbors but we didn't hear them much. So very quiet neighborhood. There are 3 small outdoor sitting areas. The front one has a table for four, while one is accessed from each of the bedrooms and the other off the dining area where the grill sits. My only darn it moment was discovering the hot tub didn't work (the pool is also not heated). We had hopes of chillin' in it after hiking but made do. And speaking of hiking, it was easy access to a multitude of climbs. And that's my 2 cents. Thanks

Questa Vida Condo

The condo was absolutely beautiful and didn't lack for a thing. Attention to detail was certainly not lacking. Everything you needed from suntan lotion, body lotion, pool towels, spices for cooking, a nice selection of coffees and teas for the keurig machine and microwave popcorn were waiting to be used. The property was neat and very quiet. There was a pool and hot tub, but if you are expecting any other usual amenities you find in gated HomeAway communities this is not the place to go. It was not a problem for us, but some may not like having everything available on site. We had a couple of questions for the condo owner and he was very responsive and helpful to us. We would definitely return to this rental in the future.
