Pleasant Stay

We stayed at this property to attend three games between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the New York Yankees. Checking in was quick and easy. The home was spotlessly clean. Everything we needed to have a comfortable stay was provided. We were very pleased and impressed with this property. Communication with the owner was perfect and checking out was also quick and easy. I highly recommended staying at this property.

Final Four 2024 Trip

The property was clean, well stocked with equipment, and in a convenient location. We were able to walk to downtown easily for restaurants and events. Tom was super easy to communicate with, as well.

The overall stay was amazing .. the house has everything that u could think of even down to q-tips we enjoyed it very much so very quiet peaceful relaxing and a lot of comfort would definitely pick here to stay again !!

For the last 3 years my brother and I stayed for spring training. The location is great to get to all the spring training ballparks. Also, the local restaurants are great.

Great stay!

Perfect spot in downtown for my wife and adult son! Easy access to Roosevelt Row, great restaurant options and hip nightlife. Short scooter ride from Footprint Center and Chase Field. We would definitely stay there again!

Convenient to airport and a couple of restaurants

Second rental The house was easy to find and clean. It is the back half of a house and has parking on the street. There was adequate availability for this. The heating system worked well. The location is good and a couple of restaurants are close by. The neighborhood can get a little noisy, as some people like to light fireworks at night. There were problems with the hot water in the bathrooms. The owners responded to out message about this right away. The problem is the water heater is on-demand. And since the sink flows so slowly, faucets need to be turned on to get the water to heat in the shower. There were enough towels for 4 people. But it would be nice to have more than 1 washcloth and 1 hand towel in each bathroom. The living room had a spacious sofa that could be a bed and 2 simple chairs. The beds had good mattresses and were easy to sleep on. There was a cool coffee maker and a variety of coffees and teas available. in the kitchen area. Be aware that the house is in the fly zone for the airport. But, being close to the airport means it is not a far drive. This was a good rental for the area and price.

This property was perfect for the hubby, myself and our 20 year old daughter who went to PHX for a concert at Chase Field. Price was comparable or better than hotels in the area. Ten to fifteen minute ride from the airport and it took us 10 minutes max on scooters to get to anything downtown. Neighborhood is a little sketchy if you're leary of the homeless population but let me be clear....we had zero issues, felt safe and rode scooters back and forth from downtown, including at night, and never worried. Also, I've seen other reviews about cleanliness; it's not "eat off the floor" clean by any means but it was clean. The host offers a lot of ammenities that I haven't had in more expensive rentals such as an expresso maker and the products to enjoy it. We would stay here again if we ever find our way back to Phoenix.

Disappointing Stay

I've stayed at several VRBOs and this is my worst experience. Three strikes: 1) It was 112 degrees in Phoenix on the day we arrived. It felt equally hot in the house when we stepped inside because the AC was set to 85! I would have expected the host to set the temp to something much cooler to greet us upon arrival. 2) The place was not clean. Stray hairs everywhere, damp laundry in dryer, filthy refrigerator, with an open gallon of milk that expired a month ago, along with other sundry items left in there. Gross. Counters in kitchen and bathroom had stray crumbs and stickiness. We had to clean the place (in the heat) before feeling comfortable to set our things down. 3) We went out later and arrived back to find that the key pad would not work! We had to wait outside for about 25 minutes for the host to arrive with a key. So inconvenient, again, it was hot and we were tired and just wanted to go inside and rest. Finally the next day, when we returned from an evening out, we arrived and the electricity was out (for hours)! Not the host's fault, but the fact that he had no flashlights in the place, left us waiting again for him to arrive with candles. He mentioned that this issue with power outages has happened before, so he should have disclosed this and at the very least had flashlights readily available in the place, just in case. This was a most unpleasant stay and I would not stay here again, nor recommend to family or friends who come to visit.

Do it! You won’t regret it!

I stayed here with girlfriends for a weekend away from our husbands and kids. This place was perfect! The beds and couch were comfy. The kitchen and bathrooms have everything you need plus more. If you want to watch more than Netflix and cable then bring a fire stick. I highly recommend walking to Welcome Diner at least once during your stay. Their cocktails are tasty and fun and the friend green tomato sandwich is divine. The host has excellent communication and is friendly. My only complaint is that I didn’t get to meet Claude the dog 🐶. If you are on the fence, don’t be! Book it!

Attention International travelers! And everyone....

Very nice, clean 2 bedroom 2 bath. Within walking distance to several hot spots. Short walk to Welcome Diner. Well set up for a stay in Phoenix. Quiet neighborhood, but close to night spots. Overall a very good experience.

Excellent condo near ballpark

My son and I stayed two nights to attend a baseball game (less than a mile walk to Chase Field). The house/condo itself is VERY nice. Clean, well-appointed. Couldn't ask for more. The property next door looked a bit sketchy (cars parked in the front yard, etc.), but we had no issues, so it was all-in-all an awesome stay.

Don’t pass this up

Everything in the listing is 100% spot on. The location is central to so many things, close to PHX and the freeway. The place is a gem. The host is fantastic and it’s really a lovely place, well maintained, quality finishes, and a fair price. We were very comfortable here and will be back.
