Astuessasi suojatusta terassista sisään on viihtyisä paikka katsella televisiota ja pieni keittiö, joka sopii erinomaisesti grillivalmistukseen. Aulan alaosassa on täysi kylpyamme ja 2 makuuhuonetta. Toisessa kerroksessa on iso ruokailutila, täydellinen keittiö, jossa astianpesukone, kylpyhuone ja 2 isompaa makuuhuonetta. Näköalaparvi on suosikki kaiken ikäisille lapsille. Korkea katto ja avoin asettelu luo loistavan paikan suurille kokoontumisille. Tilava toisen tarinan kansi nostaa sinut puiden latvoihin ja sieltä on uskomattomat näkymät sekä päivällä että yöllä. Suoraan alla on suojattu patio, joka tarjoaa luonnonkauniit näkymät omasta & loistava tila saada varjoa tai nauttia ateriaa kaikissa sääolosuhteissa. Patio ulkopuolella on oma henkilökohtainen palokuoppa, grilli ja piknikpöytä

Perfect for a family gathering

We enjoyed a clean, modern cabin for our family of nine. The resort is quiet and beautiful situated on a small, clear lake with a sandy beach area. Our host, Diana, was always congenial and helpful We loved it here!

summer stay

What a delight to find such a welcoming retreat in Shady Hollow. Our extended stay began with the warm smile of Diana, as she greeted us and took me up the path to our home for the next six weeks. Everything was in place for us to begin our adventure. We were comfortable and enjoyed the simplicity provided by our housekeeping cabin. When we did have a need, we needed only reach out and magic was done to provide. The beach was lovely and we were provided with daily entertainment as children splashed and played on the water toys provided. We even took our ancient bodies out for a few paddles on the kayaks and peddle boat to explore the pristine lake. Our favorite was to play cribbage on our deck and listen to loon family as they floated in the lake. We must mention the amazing Sheila, who was a JOY to chat with as she cared for the grounds each day. We plan to return to this oasis in the north and Diana's care again as a respite from our crazy lives.

We had a great time on the lake.

We loved the paddleboards, kayaks, floating dock, and pontoon. So many fun things to do on the lake. The fishing was good. It was fun to see the turtles too. The deck off our cabin was wonderful to sit on anytime of day, the spaciousness of our cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Our kids all had their own room. The full kitchen made it super easy to make our own meals. My only suggestion would be for more comfortable indoor chairs to sit on, maybe updated beds and bedding, curtains. The curtains were a little thin and the neighbors next to us kept their outdoor light on, which shined into our bedroom at night. Overall we had a lot of fun.

Large house on an amazing lake

We loved Hardy Lake. It wasn’t too cold. We like the small size. There were so many fun boats to use. The house wasn’t too fancy, but it met our needs. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. We didn’t know to bring our own towels, oops. The washer and dryer were great to have. Air conditioning worked well.

Peaceful getaway!

This resort is a little gem! We enjoyed our stay and didnt want to leave. Clean cabin, great views, the beach was so nice with lots to do for entire family, all ages. Diana was a wonderful host and enjoyed visiting with her. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing!

Overall Great Vacation

Stayed a week on the property with family consisting of 4 children and a toddler. The kids had a blast playing in the lake and trying out the canoes and paddle boards. I'm from out of state so I wasn't quite prepared for the constant onslaught of mosquitos, but that's not the properties problem as this was constant wherever we went. Bring bug spray!

Perfect summer vacation

We had such a blast at the Shady Hollow resort. Fishing was exciting:). Being able to use all the paddle boards/kayaks/canoes/swim dock was so fun! The pontoon available for rent was really nice and so reasonably priced. Diana and Sheila were so welcoming and kind with us all. They coordinated a craft time with the kids that they totally loved! There was a plumbing issue that came up while we were there and they resolved it so quickly. Can’t wait for the next chance to come back :).

Great Stay

My family and I loved everything about this property. Diana was very sweet and accommodating. We enjoyed renting the pontoon and thought the price was very reasonable. All of the water toys an added plus. Our cabin was very comfortable for two families. Nice and quiet and lake view was beautiful. Thank you shady hallow resort for creating lasting memories!

Stayed here with older kids and had a blast!

The cabin and resort are great! Stayed here with my older children and my friends. The free kayaks, canoes and paddle boat was a big hit! Took out the pontoon for an hour. Very reasonable and so much fun! Will do this every year. We did not want to leave.
