The Space:
Perfectly located in the heart of downtown Village of Pinehurst, Tremont Cottage offers an exquisite retreat just a one-minute walk from the renowned Pinehurst Course #2. Rich in history and tradition, this charming cottage is surrounded by a unique blend of cultural, recreational, dining, and shopping experiences, making it the ideal destination for your next vacation.

Built in 1897 by Pinehurst founder James Walker Tufts, Tremont Cottage combines the charm of an original Tufts Cottage with modern conveniences. Renovations and upgrades ensure that guests feel welcomed and enjoy all the comforts of home. The cottage features a private pool, a fenced backyard, a gas fire pit, and an inviting outdoor dining area, perfect for gatherings or relaxation.

- Four spacious bedrooms, including two master suites (one conveniently located on the first floor)
- Three full baths plus a powder room
- Furnished with period antiques and hand-knotted rugs throughout

Tremont Cottage has everything you need for a perfect vacation! Enjoy the rich history and modern amenities in a serene setting that caters to both relaxation and entertainment.

Other Things to Note:
- A Rental Agreement is required to be signed per North Carolina Chapter 42A Vacation Rental Act.
- Two fireplaces on the first floor. One is inoperable and the other is an operable gas fireplace.

Access is easy-breezy - NO KEYS TO LOSE! You will have your own unique access code good for the duration of your stay. No worries about going extra places to get keys or having to make beds on your own. Simply show up for your vacation, instant access, beds made - time to RELAX!
The home is exclusively yours, without interruption for the duration of your stay, so relax, unwind, and make yourself at home.

Great spot for a family!

Very comfortable and clean. Location was close and we took the Pinehurst shuttles from the Holly inn which was a 2 minute walk. Plenty of beds and rooms. Kitchen stocked with paper products/ trash bags/paper towels/spices and plenty of cooking and serving dishes. Laundry room stocked with detergent and dryer sheets even a first aid kit that came in handy. The pool table was fun and they had plenty of puzzles and board games. The pool and grill area was perfect and relaxing and pool towels were provided. Plenty of televisions with you tube tv and lots of streaming services. We would definitely stay again:)

Perfect Pinehurst Location

What a great property! Super location just a few minutes walk from The Holly Inn, Dugan's Pub, Drum and Quill and all that the Village has to offer. Thoroughly enjoyed the house, pool, and pool table, and Paul was great to work with.

Perfect House in Perfect Location

We loved spending Easter weekend here! The house is beautiful and has everything you could need. The grill, fire pit and pool are wonderful and you can easily walk to anything you would need in the village or to the resort. Highly recommend!

Repeat renters. Love this place. So close you can walk to anywhere in Pinehurst. Wife and I were there for our 10th anniversary and everything was perfect. Owner was extremely welcoming and readily available to answer any questions within minutes! Will absolutely be returning!!! Thinking about it already...

The location steps away from downtown and quick walk/ride to Pinehurst golf made this property great for the golfers in our family. The house is exceptionally beautiful inside and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Steve, the owner, was welcoming and helpful. Outstanding!

Amazing!

Everything about this property is amazing. The house itself is so adorable and welcoming. The little parlor room was our favorite. It was cozy and just a space we all gathered to watch tv. What a great house and location!

We had a wonderful time in Pinehurst and that was primarily due to Steve's house and his hospitality. We used the pool, pool table and fire pit and made delicious meals in the user friendly kitchen. Oh yeah, the golf around Pinehurst was excellent too! We will definitely be back!

Perfect Location in the Village

Another wonderful stay in the Village at the Cottage. Steve is an excellent communicator and the property was cleaned and ready for our arrival. The pool was the centerpiece for a brutally hot week in Pinehurst and a welcome relief from playing golf in the heat. Thank you to Steve for making our stay easy and pleasurable.
