The hotel is very nice. The only drawback was no business area, no access to a PC. Also they maybe need a bit more variety in the tiny store area. The roo m was very clean and comfortable. Finally, the staff was very kind and helpful. I travel to Pittsburgh a lot so i will stay at this hotel again i'm sure!

The staff was polite and helpful, but not very professional. The basic office equipment needed for check-in wasn't working properly and things seemed cluttered. Inside the room there was a hole in the wall from the door handle. It appeared as though it had been repaired once before. There was no door stop or evidence there ever had been one. The bathroom had seemingly been recently remodeled and overall was very nice except for the fact that the shower door handle was incredibly loose and not easy to fix without tools. There was a greasy residue a few areas on the headboard. It was a red stain in the bathroom, possibly wine or maybe some red makeup? The bed was comfortable and the picture quality on the TV was better than the average hotel stay. There was no regular garbage can in the room only a blue recycling bin. (Maybe they only offer recycling at this location?) Same situation in the breakfast area, no garbage can just a recycling bin with a garbage liner. Breakfast lacked. From the outside, the hotel looked very promising, and much of the indoor amenities feel either new or very extensively remodeled recently. Skill games in the lobby didn't exactly elevate the atmosphere though. I should have known what I was getting into considering I paid a very competitive rate. There were a lot of good bones here, but it feels like management is letting a lot slide. I stayed here in a pinch, late check in and early checkout, and might do so again if the rate was low enough.

We were disappointed that the beds were not made up. We realized we needed to request towels but thought the beds would have been made at least. Room was comfortable, food at breakfast was good. Would recommend and stay there again!

While the breakfast was fresh and the staff did a great job, there was a mouse in our room. At 1am we found it running around the room and going through our stuff. So after placing everything we had in the bathroom, up as high as we could. I check with the front desk and they were full so we couldn’t change rooms. Following up, they say there’s nothing they could do about it. I’m more disappointed by the response of customer service to the situation. Most of the staff was wonderful—management and front desk, not so much.

We were woken at 3:30 am to move in our room. Literally chewing through a bag we had travel snacks in. When I saw up and turned phone phone light on I saw them scatter. At 4 am they did move us to a different room however after a long day of travel having to wake my sons up and pack myself, husband and two kids to switch rooms all while shaking everything out was extremely stressful. The next morning in lobby I was filling out a refund request and noticed someone else was doing the same. She was on the 5th floor which is where we had just been moved to and had the same issue . The lady at front desk told us there was an abandoned property next door which was causing the issue, my husband said put out some mouse traps and you’ll get them, her response was there were far too many to catch. I’ve been trying to get a refund since we checked out Monday. Horrible. We didn’t even want to eat the breakfast due to an obvious mouse infestation!

I appreciated an easy check-in, a clean room, and a nice view of the city. But, water was only available for purchase ($3 per bottle!) as the small carafe in the lobby was just that - small, and was empty for Saturday morning breakfast and no staff around. No water service in the fitness center. The breakfast coffee offered must have reused the previous day's grounds as it was like mud. An inflated and not-worth-it price for the weekend due to events going on in the city. Hotel sits atop multiple busy highways. Cab driver cautioned me not to walk around the neighborhood alone at night.
