When we reached hotel late night they booked all the rooms even though we booked non-smoking rooms, person said only smoking room is left at middle of night we have no choice but to sleep in smoking room, my wife and kid could not sleep so they sleeper half night in car. We opened all windows whole night.

Upon arrival, the receptionist was very rude and condescending. She wanted nothing to do with helping us. We drove 5 hours and called the day before to ask for an early check-in. It was noted on our reservation, but this lady at first said she saw nothing. All she had to do was call the maid service to have 1 room cleaned asap. She don’t want to do that. She told us to come back later. So we called Quality Inn customer service and they agreed that we should have been treated better. She even said that we’re in Pittsburgh and we’re tough here. Totally unnecessary, like she was proud to be giving us a hard time! Otherwise, the room was good. I’ve never encountered such horrendous hospitality at any hotel reception desk ever!

***When reading this review, please understand that I'm not a cranky "Karen" who likes to nit-pick. I'm a middle-aged blue-collar man who has stayed everywhere from the cheapest dive to the Waldorf. This is just an honest assessment based on experience.*** The facility as a whole is in run-down condition. The room smells, the toilet seat was broken, the shower wasn't particulary clean. The beds did have clean sheets and the floor had been vacuumed, but the remainder of things you would want to see attended to were not. The breakfast buffet was under stocked and no batter for the waffle iron. We were only in town for one night and just needed a place to crash after a concert. It served it's purpose, but it is in a bit of what I'd call a sketchy area and would not want to stay here with children. If you are looking for something "nice", this ain't it. I won't outright call it a dump (I have stayed in worse), but it's barely a step above a dump. The staff was courteous and expressed willingness to help if needed. That's the only reason I don't rate it as a flea bag inn. It'll do for a night for someone who just needs to sleep, but it's no more than that and that seems to be all they are interested in catering to.

The Room was clean, but very dated and dark. Parking was limited as it seems that it may be an airport parking lot as well. the Floorboards squeak and it makes for a noisy stay as other guests move through the hotel and rooms. If you're on a budget the room rate was affordable, and, in a pinch, it does the job for a short stay, however this would not be my first choice of hotels in the area.

The look of the hotel was nice on the outside. Having the pub next door was convenient. The staff was very nice and helpful. I feel the cleanliness could be improved. Especially the carpets in the hallway. There was a lot of hair in the tub and the toilet. And the floor was pretty dirty in the bathroom. The continental breakfast is alway a plus.

The bathroom was not clean. The toilet was dirty and there was debris left on the floor. The drain in the shower didn't drain properly. It was very inconvenient that the key cards expire daily locking you out of your room and requiring you to go to the front desk to get a new one everyday

Tonidale needs a Reno

The room was very dated. The bathtub was broken and old. There were cracks in the fiberglass and every time I stepped in I worried that the bottom of the tub would break. The room had an odor and the beds were so high off the ground. I would have asked for my money back and went else where but it was a no refund.
