Sunridge Cube 2 is part of Sunridge Retreats, our small collection of unique countryside stays in the beautiful South Hams in Devon.

VRBO doesn’t support video tours in every listing format, but a quick search for Sunridge Retreats will provide videos and a better feel for Cube 2’s layout, setting and features.

🏡 SUNRIDGE CUBE 2

This isn’t a pod. This isn’t a cabin. This is a CUBE!

Cube 2 is a bespoke contemporary holiday retreat, clad in grey composite and tucked into its own private pocket of Devon countryside.

Inside, high 3-metre ceilings, a feature skylight and large bifold doors create a surprisingly spacious open-plan living area. Outside, Cube 2 has its own private hot tub and a larger decked area for alfresco dining, with picnic bench, outdoor seating and peaceful countryside surroundings.

Cube 2 is ideally suited to couples but can accommodate up to 4 guests.

🏡 INSIDE CUBE 2

Step through the bifold doors into a bright, contemporary open-plan space with lofted ceilings and a large skylight above the elevated sleeping area.

The bifold doors open directly onto Cube 2’s larger private deck, creating a lovely connection between the living space and the surrounding countryside.

🍽️ FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN

The contemporary kitchen includes:

✔ Under-counter fridge
✔ Slimline dishwasher
✔ Nespresso coffee machine

A few basic starter essentials are provided, but guests are welcome to bring their own favourite Nespresso pods and supplies.

🛏️ SLEEPING & BEDDING

The main sleeping area sits above the bathroom and is reached by a short set of steps.

It includes:

✔ King-size mattress
✔ Smart HDTV
✔ Views across the main Cube and feature skylight

Bedding, pillows and standard bathroom towels are provided for 2 guests using the main king sleeping area.

For 3rd and 4th guests, two self-inflating single airbeds are provided on the ground floor. Guests using the additional beds should bring their own bedding, pillows and towels.

Please also bring older towels for hot tub use, as chlorine may mark or discolour the bathroom towels provided.

🎬 PRIVATE CINEMA EXPERIENCE

One of Cube 2’s biggest surprises is its enormous home cinema.

A 4K Ultra HD 3D projector creates an image around 4 metres across the opposite Cube wall, turning the main living area into your own private cinema.

🌳 OUTSIDE CUBE 2

Cube 2 has its own peaceful private outdoor area with a particularly generous deck.

✔ Peaceful countryside setting surrounded by trees and wildlife

The surrounding countryside is home to squirrels, birds and other local wildlife, so don’t be surprised if you have a few curious visitors during your stay.

Cube 2 guests may also enjoy peaceful walks around the Sunridge lake area, subject to the usual site guidance. This access is for walking only and does not include fishing.

For guests choosing between the two Cubes, Cube 1 has its own larger private lawn and additional upper sun deck directly beside the retreat, while Cube 2 benefits from the larger entrance deck and access to the lake walk area.

🔥 For fire safety, barbecues, disposable barbecues, campfires, firepits and other outdoor naked flames are not permitted anywhere on site.

🛁 PRIVATE HOT TUB

Your private hot tub is exclusively for Cube 2 guests.

Lie back beneath the trees and enjoy the bubbles, whether it’s a sunny afternoon or a cool evening under the stars.

Please bring older towels for hot tub use.

🐾 DOG-FRIENDLY

Cube 2 welcomes up to 2 well-behaved dogs. Pet fees apply.

Please bring dog blankets to protect sofas and furnishings, and dogs must not be left unattended inside Cube 2.

Guests with dogs may also enjoy the lake walk area, subject to the usual site guidance.

📍 LOCATION

Sunridge Cube 2 is set in the South Hams countryside in Devon, within easy reach of the Salcombe coast, Dartmoor National Park, local beaches and excellent countryside pubs.

It’s a peaceful base for couples, small families, friends, walkers, beach days, cinema nights and hot tub escapes.

Parking is right next to Cube 2.
