Enjoy the slopes and an indoor pool at Oglebay Resort during the winter, and return in the summer for a round at the resort's golf course.

Oglebay Park has always been one of my favorite places. Wilson Lodge has updated some of their rooms. Although we stayed in the updated section of the lodge, the room was still old looking in the bathroom and small in the bedroom. Just need to rearrange/redesign the rooms.

Bathroom sink did not have cold water. Faucet on cold water would not move. Yes I emailed front desk. Shampoo and conditioner was out. Housekeeper filled up containers. The property did not appear to be full. However, my room was in Siberia! Thru outside door, across lobby to elevator, down another corridor to another elevator and down a long corridor to last room in wing. First day we got lost every time we left our room. Several restaurants not open yet for season. Expensive stay. Enjoyed zoo and pool.

Everything is picture perfect. There are many activities in the main Wilson lodge building and around the lodge. The only thing that needs to be taken care of the gaming zone where most of the arcade machines are malfunctioning and need repair or replacement.

I always enjoy coming to Oglebay for the Easter festivities with my Grandson. We love the Good zoo, playgrounds and Swan paddle boats. It can be confusing getting around in the hotel, our room always seems so far away-LOL! Restaurant was ok but expensive.

Just returned from another wonderful stay at Oglebay Resort, and once again, it exceeded my expectations! This continues to be a fantastic destination for our family. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and noticeably updated. It was a welcoming and relaxing space to return to after a day of activities. My son absolutely loved the pool and the game room. These amenities were a huge hit and kept him happily entertained during any downtime we had. It's great knowing there are such enjoyable options on-site for kids. A highlight of our stay was the breakfast buffet. The selection was amazing, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from, and I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced it was. It was the perfect way to start our mornings. Overall, our experience at Oglebay Resort was once again exceptional. The combination of comfortable accommodations, excellent amenities for children, and delicious food makes it a truly enjoyable getaway. We can't wait to plan our next stay at Oglebay!

We had the red panda experience booked at the good zoo, and decided to stay at the resort after. Check-in was incredibly easy, and the receptionist that checked us in even gave us a free breakfast! The facilities were clean and easy to navigate, and the indoor pool was clean and a pleasant way to wind down after our day! Will definitely be back to do some golfing on at least 1 of the many courses there!

We had a nice two-night stay here. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool area and game room. Our room was clean and comfortable. We found the breakfast buffet at Skyline (extra charge) each morning to be worth the money. It was delicious. We took advantage of the decent weather and explored the property. We would stay here again.

We chose a newly renovated room as a treat. I loved having a balcony overlooking the grass and trees. However, i was not aware that the hotel had prison labor or halfway house labor. I was only concerned not knowing this and our room was missing the security lock. Room was not fully finished there were holes in the tile where the tub meets the floor and wall. Unfixed holes from old towel bars. The kuerig did not have a power source where iy was located so we had to move it in and out of the cupboard. Bed was off center of wall. Many exposed wall outlets with old covers. The room was really clean, however housekeeping staff were singing and yelling loudly, which woke up my baby several times. Front desk staff gave a very chilly check inn. The are is very clean and the restaurant and bar had the best service with exceptional food. Very fresh vegetables and each meat cooked phenomenally. The grounds are beautiful and it is like an oasis, just for the price they are missing some key hospitality points.

Great property with great staff. There were renovations at the time of our visit, showing that the property is focused on staying up to date. One negative - no USB chargers in rooms. Be sure to bring a charging cube.
