Great stay

We spent three nights in a kitchenette unit and we were impressed by how clean it was, with modern appliances and a good size fridge. There is also a gigantic tv with many channels. The hotel is dated, but the upgrades make it very comfortable. There is also an awesome Indian restaurant on site and a small liquor store. While it is next to the airport, there are very few flights and noise wasn't an issue. It is only a 10 min drive from Port Hardy and it is in close proximity to nice beach walks. There is also a laundry room on site that guests can use after 4pm. Bernie the manager was excellent!!

The rooms were clean and had a decent sized fridge in the room and a smart tv. The staff were very friendly and provided us a take away breakfast as we needed to catch the ferry early. And the Indian food was delicious.

This old fashioned hotel was tolerable. On the good side: a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. The bedding and towels were clean, though thin, like the walls. The usual continental breakfast offerings. Not so good: old and dingy carpets, walls, bathroom tiles (mildew), etc. Not worth the price, but it was less expensive than most of the others that were available in town.

The manager checked us in. He was personable, friendly and great. This is a standard motel, average in most ways. The breakfast was continental - tea/coffee, fruit, yoghurt, toast. Location is close to the town's small airport, but only good if you have a car. About 10 km from town.

We landed late in the morning from a delay of the ferry and Bernie was so accommodating, he stayed open until we all arrived to check in. The room was very nice, spacious and the bed gave a great sleep. The complementary.breakfast was just sufficient enough for the morning. I’m looking forward to staying here again on my return back to the Island.

The bed was comfortable but the underwear under the bed made the comfort questionable. The bathroom was dated but the clump of hair made the dated look disgusting. Long short it is in need of some love. Upon arrival we were told that the hotel was short staffed. It showed by a he lack of attention to detail. Everything was done to minimal standards.
