The front desk staff were amazing, as were the beautiful rooms! Beds and shower were great, room clean, and the check in process pleasant. There is a small gallery upstairs that is worth a visit, and the connected pub has great breakfast options. I checked in around 1am after getting off the ferry from Prince Rupert, and would highly recommend staying here if you're in Port Hardy!

Only criticism is that the cleaners need to do a better job cleaning the shower. There was quite a bit of pink surface mildew in the shower that could be easily wiped off.

We didn't know what to expect of this new property and were pleasantly surprised. It is beautifully decorated with locally inspired finishes. The pub food was excellent, including breakfast which was 20% off for guests. We requested additional clothes hangers which we were given. The toiletries were high quality, our room had plenty of towels. Housekeeping comes only on request. Lemon/cucumber water is available in the lobby. There is a large grocery store next door and restaurants are a 10 minute walk. Do NOT miss Guidos Cafe and the adjacent book store and art gallery.

Everything was great except the tv/channels. I’ve stayed here many times and have had many different rooms and every tv has a scratching sound in the volume. There is very limited choices for tv channels.

Really enjoyed our stay, just had one night, very comfortable. Dinner in the pub was wholesome, tasty and the young lady who served us was very friendly. Nice to walk round in Port Hardy.

advised the reception; 1 point of concern ( from someone who has designed and BUILT many resort hotels!) arrived lte and jumped into a quick shower BUT the residue if soap/cleaner on the shower base made it VERY slippery and treacherous ! No grab rails, no rubber mat- this could be a problem... shower base caulking also mildewed and failing ... otherwise nice stay!
