I do not like giving bad reviews. If I don't like something, I usually do not submit anything at all. In this case, I felt the need.
I will say, the staff did the best they could. Our first night, it was very clear, the hotel was UNDER STAFFED. Two people were trying to run the front desk, the bar, and the restaurant. Imagine the wait and customers frustration. I felt bad for the staff in this case.
The snow plowing was terrible. Cars were stuck at the end of the street. Whoever is the plow company is, should be FIRED. Immediately. Very unsafe situations.
I was very unimpressed with the young staff guy, at the front desk in the a.m. I can ignore the sweat pants and sweat shirt, but the sunglasses...not a good look for the front desk staff.
Finally, I don't mind if people smoke marijuana. What was extremely off putting was the strong intense smell from the elevator all the way up to the 3rd floor. The entire hallway reeked. Clearly, someone had some REALLY GOOD stuff or they were smoking in the building. There is no way others could not smell it.
