Staff lovely very helpful lovely hotel right on the sea front,we had side sea view room not very big but clean and comfortable ,lovely swimming pool but best picking the quiet time if possible as there was children dive bombing pool and screaming which ruined it for us

The hotel staff were friendly but cleanliness of the hotel was poor. The hotel smelt badly of cooking fat, and there were dirty plates, wine glasses, beer bottles and an empty bottle of wine outside our room for over 24hours. These were there when we arrived and were only cleaned away the following day. There was also two full bin liners in the corridor of our room that weren’t cleared way for over 24 hours too. The food in the restaurant was not very nice. No flavour but quite expensive. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly. Shame about the cleanliness

Lovely hospitality and friendly staff. The food was plentiful and tasty. We stayed for dinner and weren't disappointed. Breakfast was delicious too but no pastries. Location-wise I imagine in the summer it is gorgeous! The weather was awful the night we stayed and the howling wind and rain on the west-facing window kept us up all night, unfortunately. There were also large numbers of bluebottle flies living (and dying!) in the window frames. My children found the pool too cold so we only lasted 15 minutes or so. But the sauna was a great bonus! That was my favourite bit of the stay!

One night stay got off to a bad start as the room was cold and we couldn’t get the radiator to work. The ladies on reception were not sympathetic or helpful. It turned out the heating was broken and they had to get an engineer out. We didn’t use the leisure centre as thought this would be cold too. Once the heating was fixed it improved. The bed was comfortable and the shower powerful . The food in the bistro and at breakfast was good
