Cedar Lodge is a superb, detached holiday retreat set in the peaceful countryside of Walton near Presteigne. This beautifully presented lodge offers spacious and stylish accommodation, perfect for families, friends, and pet lovers looking to unwind in nature with a touch of luxury. There is a fully equipped kitchen. Large French doors open onto a generous decked area and an enclosed garden—perfect for al fresco dining or a soak in the private hot tub. The lodge has four comfortable bedrooms all with French doors looking onto the patio, two king-size rooms with Smart TVs and en-suite shower rooms, and two twin bedrooms, each with Smart TVs. There are also two beautifully appointed family bathrooms—one with a freestanding bath and separate shower cubicle, and one with a walk-in shower. All rooms enjoy the comfort of underfloor heating.

The lodge sits near some of the region’s best walking routes, including Offa’s Dyke Path, which winds along the ancient border of England and Wales offering stunning panoramic views. Hergest Ridge, near Kington, provides a scenic ridge walk with views toward the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. Radnor Forest is another local gem—wild, peaceful, and perfect for walking, mountain biking, or birdwatching. If you enjoy cycling, the surrounding lanes are peaceful and scenic, with options for both gentle rides and more challenging terrain. You’ll find plenty of local trails and maps available, or you can try horse riding at nearby equestrian centres.
