Every jacuzzi is cold literally the same temperature as the pools and staff starts adding chlorine and Chemicals at 8:15pm even though they close at 9:00pm. Pool bars all close at 6pm so if you want to hangout in the cold jacuzzi after 6pm you will have to walk over 1/4 mile up a steep hill in between drinks.

Buffet: "hot" food was always lukewarm or cold. We are not picky eaters but struggled to enjoy this buffet. We ended up eating dinner late afternoons before pool restaurant closed or at the taco truck due to the buffet being less than desirable.

Great Service, Comfortable Stay, but Some Areas Need TLC The Delta Marriott Riviera Maya offers exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though some areas of the property could use a little TLC. The pools are small but well-maintained, and while the towels are a bit worn, they are clean. The food is decent, but the options are somewhat limited. Despite these minor details, the outstanding service from the staff makes for a pleasant stay!

This property has a very cool relaxing jungle Costa Rica vibe. Lots of cool birds, coatis, cats, and cows roaming around the property. I felt the food was overall really good. Buffet was above average. Japanese steakhouse was good. The best was the food truck during lunch. The pool bar food up top was great. And food at beach club very good also. The pantry is also a nice touch, coffee in the morning w fruit and pastry’s and diffrent salads during lunch and all day ice cream. Loved it. Not much for activities or night life so this isn’t the place if you’re looking for a party it’s a relaxed vibe with lots of kids . We did wish there was more kid free areas to swim and eat and that they didn’t allow kids in the gym, that was annoying. Lots of pools to check out and different areas to be at each day for a different vibe. Loved the lazy river and the adult pool slide is very fast n fun. They just built a new building that they don’t tell you about and isn’t really inside the same property it’s right next to it though. Short walk so make sure you check that out or try to stay there . It’s has its own new pools(adult rooftop pool) and new bar and restaurant. Kinda a secret we didn’t find out about till last day. Property is spread out but u can call for golf cart whenever u want or need. Service is top tier . So many great servers we had. The kids and no soap in just about any bathroom I went in would be our only complaints. overall really good!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here and liked that it was outside the hustle and bustle of Puerto Vallarta. The staff was very accommodating and VERY friendly. We thought the breakfast was good but that the lunch and dinner options were mediocre. We were disappointed that they didn't even have guacamole on any of their menus! The beds were super comfortable and the cleaning staff was always attentive and accommodating. Overall, we had a great experience and would come back!

This is a lovely property. Service was excellent. Grounds are beautiful. Pools are beautiful. Morning buffet was great, evening buffet was sub par. Japanese restaruant was excellent. Taco truck was excellent. Beach club was excellent with easy access. We had a lovely stay. Towels in rooms could use replacing but room was very clean.

I liked pools, good variety for adults and children. The staff was exceptional. The shuttles around the property were very good and necessary due to heat and the hilly nature of the resort. Food: adequate. Basically one restaurant which is buffet . The Japanese restaurant was not good at all. The menu was a fixed Chinese food style menu that the the same throughout our 10 day stay. Could not order anything. I considered the Japanese restaurant non existent. Snack Bar - food was good at the one snack bar on resort and the one by beach. Overall, food adequate. Many went into town for dinners. Beach - short shuttle to beach, which began at 10 a.m Could not go in all week because of flag alert. Incredibly disappointing If you have issues breathing or walking think twice. Room - ours was nice enough. The view was in back and a dried up hill. My yard has a better view. To say the resort is in a jungle in the mountain is inaccurate. Looks like it was carved from a valley between two hills. Very little entertainment. I would not return, but others seemed to be ok with it.

The property is not an oceanfront property but rather set back up in the hills above the ocean. It was quiet and family oriented. The shuttle to the beach was easy and the beach club was very nice. The staff is polite and friendly and the food was good as well. The taco truck is a highlight for sure! Would definitely go back!
