I had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever encountered at Hotel Pueblito Vallarta. From the moment I checked in, the property was plagued by unclean conditions, broken amenities, and unresponsive staff. Housekeeping never properly cleaned the room, and I had to personally retrieve clean sheets from the front desk multiple times. Toilets clogged, the hot water was unreliable, the air conditioning barely worked, and the refrigerator didn’t keep anything cold. Even the in-room safe was broken on arrival and wasn’t replaced until days later. Despite raising these issues repeatedly with staff, nothing was resolved. I ultimately checked out a day early because I could no longer tolerate the conditions. I expected basic hospitality and cleanliness, but this hotel failed across the board. I’ve requested a full refund and urge others to avoid this property entirely.

I booked last minute when plans changed, hotel looked decent enough on line. When I arrived tired and cranky I opened the door to a living room, full kitchen, small washroom. Realized close door held a nice bedroom, king size bed, large bathroom and lots of drawer and closet space. Would definitely stay there again on any future trips.

If you're just looking for a place to rest your head & then head out, this is the spot for you. If you need all the amenities, you will be disappointed. We were very happy with our stay as our intention was to be located in walking distance to all the things, which this was definitely perfect for.

The staff were amazing! Very friendly and welcoming :) Good value for the price. My biggest critique is that the water pressure in the shower was not consistent and it took 10-15 mins for the water to get hot. It is the perfect place if you need a kitchen and a place to stay that is not above a noisey bar.

Can't believe this property is rated 9, 2. Rooms smells on mold, most of the rooms are without windows. The only room that was available with windows was the cheaper ones, but we took it. Bugs, in the bathroom, waiting for 10 minutes for hot water. The only positive side of the hotel is the staff.

I was extremely disappointed with this hotel from the minute I checked in to the minute I left. The rooms are very remedial and have not had any updates since who knows when. There is only one air conditioner in the bedroom which drips condensation on your head at night while you sleep. The other areas stay very warm. There was no blanket nor face cloths. Seems like basic necessities but I'm told they don't even have face cloths. Ok, a minor inconvenience. I was also informed that some rooms have trouble with the hot water. My shower had hot water however it lasted about 3 minutes before it went to a trickle. Water pressure was already very low. So if you need more than 3 minutes, you'll be taking a cold shower for sure! The noise level is extremely high as well. There is construction right next door which goes from 7a-7p. On top of that it is a very busy area with lots of traffic. There are many people walking and talking as well as vendors yelling non-stop. This was not a relaxing experience to say the least. The only positive I can say is the location is great. Everything is walkable without the need for a car. Other than that, not much going for it.
