The room was very clean, the location of The Loft Hotel was very good. The staff were great, the little restaurant was super, and the restaurant staff were great as well. The pool was clean and well attended to every day.

The Loft Hotel is a clean little bouquet hotel with a great location about 1-blocks from the Malcom. The location and cost were great but I booked 2 double bed rooms with balconies on Expedia for 2-nights but when I checked in at 7:00 pm I was informed they gave my rooms away. After complaining for half an hour with the front desk clerk I did manage to get 1 balcony room and 1 window room. My feeling is if they take my reservation they should be able to deliver on what was promised. Also I had very limited hotwater in my bathroom.

Fuimos de vacaciones a Puerto Vallarta la última semana de 2025. Nos quedamos mi esposa y yo en el "Loft Hotel Malecón". En general, el hotel es adecuado, limpio, céntrico y tiene precios justos. Sin embargo, tuvimos un incidente: Desde el día en que hicimos check-in, empezamos a recibir llamadas que supuestamente eran de la recepción del hotel pero el número era de la Ciudad de México y no de Vallarta. La primer llamada fue de noche y decían que un huésped había tirado bebidas en los pasillos y que estaban limpiando, que si estábamos en la habitación nos ofrecían una disculpa por el ruido. Al día siguiente después de muchas llamadas perdidas dijeron que habían tenido algún tipo de malentendido con nuestra reservación y el pago y querían confirmar las fechas de salida lo cuál nos pareció muy extraño. Parecía que querían confirmar que efectivamente estábamos hospedados ahí. Trataron de comunicarse directo a la habitación a través de la recepción del hotel, pidiendo por mi, sabían el número de habitación y la gente de recepción me comentó de la llamada que recibieron ya que sabían el número de habitación, la chica del hotel no les dio información pero me alertó sobre el incidente. La segunda noche, volvieron a llamar diciendo que iban a revisar las habitaciones, al decirles que íbamos a verificar esta información directo en la recepción del hotel comenzaron a amenazar y a decir que pertenecían a un cártel y que nos harían daño si no cooperábamos. Wonderful location on the Malecon just unfortunate construction still in front and side of property really put a damper on the accessibility and noise disturbance. The room itself was nice and updated. My kids enjoyed the Roku streaming features available with the tv. Staff was helpful and able to hold our luggage after checkout until we left for airport.

1. Extremely noisy, right by their restaurant that runs bar past midnight. 2. Rooms cannot be made dark as the bright light comes from the same place. Could not sleep both the 2 nights we stayed. I have picture with all curtains closed, still everything is clearly seen in the room. 3. They have fine prints for the 2 persons for the breakfast, even though we booked for 4 persons for the 2 room suite for the higher price. AND even for the 2 persons, the breakfast amount is MEX $150, that do not provide. For example, omlette is $80, fruit is $40. We did not get the fruits it supposed to have. 4. The hot water stops in the morning.

The hotel is modern, clean and very unique. Rooms had varying configurations. The courtyard is lovely, and a great place to enjoy coffee and breakfast in the morning, or stargaze by the pool in the evening. We would love to stay here again on a return trip.

It was a great stay. Walking distance from the beach and the Malecón. All the shopping and activities were close by, transportation was close by. The staff were very helpful and nice.
