I loved the experience at this hotel. The place feels brand new and it feels like the experience was truly designed around the travel experience of gay men, which I really enjoyed. I'm sure other members of the LGBT community would find the place welcoming. I will likely be returning to this hotel and would recommend it. However, I likely will ask not to be put in a room that is directly facing that restaurant with the outdoor dining that is right next to the hotel (Coco's kitchen). On one of the nights of my stay they were playing live flamenco pretty loudly and though it ended before 11pm, it was getting a bit annoying after a while because there was no way of escaping it.

Staff great. Room door slams. All of them do can hear them down the hall. Music in lobby so loud at 4 am no one was around.. had to ask to turn it off. No dressers and lack of hangers. Toilet didn’t flush well at all. Overall wouldn’t stay there again. Nice hotel tho.

Overall, this hotel is excellent. First off, it's immaculately clean and very well-maintained. There was some construction noise (beginning at 7:30 am), but it didn't really bother us much as we are early risers. More annoying was the surrounding dance music blasting from the local bars/clubs, but no one staying in the Zona Romantica comes for the quiet. Our room (#604) was perfect -- a large west-facing room with an ocean view, featuring a king-sized bed and thick, fluffy towels. Warning: below the 5th floor, the hotel in front of The Tryst blocks the view of the ocean of west-facing rooms (if that matters). We didn't eat in the hotel, so we can't evaluate the food. Staff was attentive and pleasing to the eye. On an amusing note: one of the staff escorted us to our room upon check-in wearing a leather jacket. When I remakre on it, he told us that it was "freezing", which we found amusing coming from Chicago. It was 74 degrees in PV at the time... We would definitely stay here again.

Spent 6 days/5 nights at the Tryst in December 2025. Beautiful hotel, clean and modern, great customer service. Room was a bit small and minimal with no drawers/closets to put clothing/shoes in. We found this a bit strange, however I suppose it aligned with the modern/sleek look of the place. We ended up placing our clothing on each side of the bed and needed to keep everything tightly folded due to the lack of space. Also, the shower was frustrating as there was only a small glass wall directly next to the shower, however it didn't fully come across from wall-to-wall (no sliding glass shower door) leading to a lot of water spraying all over the bathroom floor every time we showered. While the open shower had a sleek vibe, it was not functional/practical at all. To avoid slipping, we had to put a towel down each time to absorb the water on the floor. We were surprised the architects/builders hadn't thought this through when constructing the bathrooms. We would most likely stay here again due to the central location, modern vibe, friendly customer service, awesome rooftop pool and 2nd floor heated pool. However, we wouldn't be opposed to staying elsewhere as there are many other hotels in the area.

This place is spectacular. Catering to the rainbow community. The staff are excellent and the attention to detail is impressive. This is the first property to open and 3 more are in construction in other locations. 2 pools and spectacular views from the roof.

I was really impressed with the level of service at this hotel. The staff are curtious, professional and abundant. The property is very modern with a cool interior design in the room. The view from the rooftop pool was excellent and we really enjoyed our time there. One opportuinty for imporvemtn would be the furniture in the room. All of the chairs were so low that I could not get in and out of them. The hotel was gracious enough to lone us a chair from the restaranunt so that I could enjoy the room.
