This was a girls' trip, and since we didn’t have a car, Maritza’s location was absolutely perfect! The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping, making everything so convenient. The daily breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The property is well-kept, and the rooms have been beautifully renovated. We’ll definitely be back for another Pura Vida girls trip!

I was arriving to Limon after the check in time finished and the reception would be closed but I called and explained the situation and she stayed an extra 45 mins to make sure I wouldn’t be stranded. Thanks hotel Maritza!!

Hotel in Paradise

Maritza hotel never disappoints. It’s my go to when my family stays in Puerto Viejo. The owner Ana is a sweetheart and is always helpful. The hotel is now offering cereal, bread coffee and tea in the mornings. It’s a great touch.

I didn't like that we couldn't control the shower water. It was either cold or hot. Also, beds were too hard. Overall, people were very nice. They maintain it clean. Air conditioner was excellent.

Family Friendly

We love the owner! She is very friendly and helpful! The hotel is safe, cute, clean, and quiet. It is a great location - to be able to walk everywhere, including the beach. Parking is gated at night. We have choosen to stay here for the last two summers.

Llegué hasta allá con mi reserva y me dijeron que ellos no trabajan con ustedes y que no tenían mi reserva, así que me mandaron a otro hotel de inferior calidad y del mismo precio pero sin desayuno, o sea perdí tiempo y dinerl.
