The pool was dirty. I stayed For 5 nights they came to clean it once. Also I accidentally broke a glass plate called it in around 10am staff didn’t arrive till about 4/5pm after I had to continuously call. Everything is slow. Room service took 1/2 hours to arrive every time I called. I requested late check out they approved then waited till the day OF TO tell me I couldnt Do a late checkout after they already told me I could. Food @ all resturants was a 4/10.

I reported a guest stalking us and being rude to my 2 daughters and myself. I text the concierge, talked to the front desk and they did not even respond or talk to me. When we left we were told they provided transportation, we had to pay the driver because he said that was not something the resort does. I felt very mislead and upset by the management. I feel a phone call or email is due.

This was our third group trip to a resort, and unfortunately, it was by far the worst experience. While some staff members were excellent, the service overall was marred by extreme inconsistency and what felt like a clear bias. At the 24/7 coffee shop, we encountered two very different levels of service. One staff member was wonderful, but the other was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. My entire group shared the exact same sentiment. We noticed a recurring pattern across the resort and the cafeteria: staff were energetic and friendly toward some group (which I can't mention here due to expedia/Hyatts review policy/rules) but be prepared for a very different level of "hospitality." based on where you are from. Beyond the service, the food was mediocre and the pool was underwhelming. Hyatt needs to invest in serious diversity and hospitality training. When you treat paying customers poorly, you can't expect them to return. Best of luck - we are never going back there again.

Pros: The room was very nice. We had a ocean front corner room which was amazing. The pools were great. Service and staff were pleasant & very good. They were always willing to help with a smile. Cons: The beach was nonexistent. I called ahead to find out was there a good and swimmable beach they told me absolutely yes. Cap Cana beach is terrible. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Willy from the night crew was outstanding—very helpful, attentive, and always willing to assist with a great attitude. Every employee we interacted with was friendly, professional, and welcoming.
