I had an amazing experience at this hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff was super friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. We enjoyed the penthouse apartment. The staff was very friendly. Rafael the concierge was so helpful and very quick to respond to every request. The transport drivers were fun and friendly. The food was delicious. Coco Mar restaurant at the beach served a variety of delicious meals. The beach was amazing.

The language barrier was a problem They didn’t understand English hardly at all. The choice of restaurants was very limited. The little grocery store was very limited with fresh vegetables and fruits. The pools outside the apartments became very dirty with algae green and disgusting

The apartment was great and the staff was excellent. Always a large golf cart going by which always asked if you needed a ride to the beach, etc. And the staff was not pushy for tips, as in some places. They realize you are there to have fun, and do not want to think of tipping every time you get a ride or directions. The restaurants are a bit expensive, but they have good family priced options too…a chicken place that was nice and pizza, etc. Very secure, with guards patrolling. The beach was nice, with enough beach chairs and umbrellas (no cost). Beware of some rocky areas in the water…Macao beach water/sand is better, but you have too many people trying to sell you stuff. Biggest issue is that it is far from Punta Cana. As well, you need from 20-60 minutes to get to any excursions… We did a Buggy ride through the mud to the Macao beach, which was fun, but no Ubers would come to get us…Finally talked to a staff member getting off work, and he took us back to make some cash. All in all this place is very nice, but be reminded of the distance, etc.

The very first day the electricity kept turning off. The water in the shower was all over the place.The bathroom was very dirty it look like they never cleaned there before. I was there for like 10 days and i complained about how the lady never came to cleaned but they did not do anything about it. I can go on and on but its just really to much.

Enjoyed my stay here. Beach is nearby. Some mosquitoes in the room. The supermarket store inside the property is not well stocked at all to buy provisions in case you ant to cook. The pools are excellent.

Cozy and not very big resort. We loved the beach, better than in big expensive resorts. Food is good. We also loved our penthouse. We got all we need. Not too much amenities, but perfect for chill and relaxed vacation.
