Check in was horrible. Staff wasn't friendly didn't acknowledge our present. Taken to VIP area only to sit and wait when there were staff at front desk. Food wasn't all that. Room service also sucked. Wasn't any where to eat between 11 am to 12 noon.

It was half empty. Food was very salty. We had to ask about basic things like tissue paper. The restaurants had different menu than on their websites. Good was not good at all. Meat was so hard the waiter couldn’t even cut it.

I recently stayed at Serenade All Suites and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was the food. Many buffet items seemed undercooked, overcooked, or not properly refrigerated, raising safety concerns. Neither the buffets nor the à la carte restaurants had air conditioning, so dining in 80–90°F heat was uncomfortable. Reservations were frustrating. We were told we didn’t need them for La Palapa at dinner, but we did. Reservations are made through an app, which didn’t work at first and had to be fixed. Drinks were decent but typical watered-down all-inclusive alcohol. Our room was only cleaned and mini-bar restocked when requested. Room service was the best food we had all week. However, the TV only worked if unplugged and plugged back in, and the door to our patio/swim-up pool didn’t lock, which was concerning. Service was inconsistent. Some staff were friendly, but often requests went ignored—for example, asking for a Coke at the buffet and never receiving it. On the positive side, our swim-up pool room was enjoyable, the pools were nice, and the beach was beautiful, though the water had a lot of seaweed (not the resort’s fault). Overall, a few highlights didn’t outweigh the many negatives. I would not stay here again.

The bad: Will only let you book 2 dinner reservations per stay. Reservation restaurants not open everyday. Booking the reservation was confusing on the app and not clear. Staff not very hospitable. Ants and bugs in the room. Majority of staff does not speak or understand English, so there’s a language barrier if you don’t speak Spanish. The ocean has a ton of seaweed and the water looks brown because of it. The buffet was okay not the best. No full length mirror in the room. The good: beautiful location. A lot of pools, jacuzzis and swim up pool options. Fun side on the family area with music and activities. On the adult side a lot of quiet relaxing areas and pools. Swim up bars, beautiful layout with a lot of photo opportunities. White sand beach, food truck and bars on the beach. Premium liquor options for elite club.

My premium room with a pool, I have big roaches in my room almost everyday. Report it to the front desk and told me the all rooms in the first floor have roaches. Very disappointed

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel first time in the adults only section. The amenities, pools, room, services and staff where wonderful! The VIP 500 credits I received where poor I was not able to use any as they where broken down in section and prices. The prices for some of the things where a bit too high.

Our room and the resort grounds were very nice and enjoyable. The food at the specialty restaurants was good and our favorite was the steak house. The buffet food was horrible and unacceptable. It would probably be shut down by health inspection in the US. When making the reservation on Expedia it said it included a resort credit but it is not really a resort credit it’s just a discount on a list of upgrades, services and purchases at the resort.
