Surrounded by the owner’s farmland grazed by Welsh sheep, it’s just ¾ of a mile from the delightful little harbour and beach at Porth Colmon, where in season, freshly caught lobsters and crabs can be purchased from the local fisherman. The lively seaside resort of Pwllheli, 15 miles, has a fine selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and is a favourite with the sailing fraternity. Caernarfon’s majestic castle, Italianate Portmeirion, the steam railway and Snowdonia’s myriad of exhilarating outdoor pursuits are all within easy reach. Seasonal shop within the village ½ a mile.
