As always our stay at crowne plaza queenstown is enjoyable. Great customer service. Nothing is too much to ask for. Position can't be beaten. Breakfast was awesome. Our only issue was with the smell of gas from the kitchen beneath us early in the morning if we opened our balcony door. Reception dealt with our issue immediately and even offered to move our room for us. Bathroom needed a little more tlc but otherwise housekeeping was excellent. All in all a very good review with just a couple of issues. We will be back. We love staying at crowne plaza. Keep up the good work.

The staff at this property were outstanding & made our 7 night stay very enjoyable. The reception & concierge/valet staff were so friendly & it was never too much trouble to get our car out for us. The complimentary hot chocolate was wonderful after being out in the cold. Great buffet breakfast each morning with friendly staff greeting with a smile & Gabriella went above & beyond to welcome all guests. What a lovely lady & an asset to the hotel. Having the option of a breakfast box to take away on our early morning trip to Milford Sound was very thoughtful & we appreciated it so much! The buffet itself had a good selection of freshly cooked breakfast items. Our room on the 7th floor had a beautiful view of the lake & mountains. This floor was very quiet which suited us perfectly as I am a pathetically light sleeper! I also ordered firmer pillows which were more suitable to my needs. The room was very clean & housekeeping did a fine job each day. Nice toiletries provided too. The location was the best as we were able to walk to the town Centre very easily & we were surrounded by many restaurants, bars & cafes. Real NZ tour company & Steamer Wharf were literally across the road. We would not hesitate to book this hotel our next time in Queenstown & highly recommend to others.

property is very very old.. beds and linens are not comfortable.. carpet and flooring not clean.. furniture are moldy.. shower- no water pressure, hot water is not consistent, shower head positioned for people 5'7 or less. positives - great location.. right on lakefront.. 2min walk to retail and food district.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience overall! The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the stay. The highlight of my visit was the breathtaking lake view from the room—absolutely stunning and a true retreat for the senses. The rooms themselves were comfortable, providing a relaxing space to unwind. However, the early morning noise from the trash collection slightly disrupted the tranquility. The hotel’s restaurant also deserves a mention. Both breakfast and dinner were delightful, with a variety of options to satisfy different tastes. The meals were well-prepared and flavorful, making dining at the hotel a memorable experience. Despite the minor noise issue, I highly recommend this hotel for its amazing views, comfort, excellent dining, and service. It’s a great choice for a rejuvenating getaway.
