Fantastic long weekend in the French Pyrenees

We had an excellent long weekend in Rabouillet in this fabulous chalet. Jenny sent the directions and it was straight forward to find the place. Already a loaf of freshly baked bread and a running fireplace with cosy heat was waiting for us. The place was charming with old style decor and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Can only recommend for anyone, especially couples.

Une tres belle semaine àu cœur de la montagne

La maison est dans un petit village très calme et bénéficie d'une vue exceptionnelle sur la chaîne des Pyrénées et le Pic du Canigou. Nous avons adoré la maison ancienne et pleine de charme, et surtout la terrasse très protégée des vents dominants (nous avons pu manger dehors par 80 km/h !). Merci à Jenny pour son accueil et les délicates petites attentions qui nous attendaient (confiture et pain maison)

We had a very enjoyable stay. Jenny and Alex were excellent hosts.

The gîte was all we expected. A quiet relaxing and beautiful area suitable for walks, cycling, photography etc. The narrow roads can be a bit daunting at first.

Wonderful house with view in beautiful location

Authentic, charming property in a little village in the mountains. Very friendly hosts with lots of local knowledge who provided us with tips for places to visit in the area. Welcome freshly baked bread and marmalade on table when we arrived.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce gîte plein de charme. Des petites attentions très appréciables lors de notre arrivée (pain et confitures maison, conseils de promenades dans les environs. ...) et un très bon accueil des propriétaires. Terrasse très agréable d'où l' on peut profiter de la vue et du calme.

Village magnifique, perché sur la montagne

Beaucoup de kms à faire pour se rendre dans des lieux exceptionnels mais qui valent le détour : les gorges de Galamus, le château de Puylorens, Villefranche de COnflent, petits villages (Evol, Eus...), lacs des bouillouses.... Logement ancien, très mignon, avec terrasse. Endroit très calme. Propriétaire très aimable. Conclusion : nous avons passé une semaine magnifique.

Discrétion , délicatesse des propriétaires et accueil chaleureux avec de delicieuses attentions. Une maison traditionnelle où l'on se sent très vite chez soi.
