Please note: There is no road between the cottage and the beach.. Seagull Cottage is a mid-terrace holiday home in a superb location with delightful sea views and just a stone’s throw from Portreath’s sandy beach and harbour. Portreath is a seaside village on the beautiful North Cornish coast. Set in a deep valley alongside the rugged, popular surfing beach which is watched over by the local Surf Life Saving Club, and is ideal for swimming and watersports.

There are spectacular coastal walks and amazing sunsets. Within a short flat walk to the heart of the village where you will find shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Ilogan Woods, adjacent to Portreath, with streams and a circular walk leading to the 14th-century church tower at Ilogan.

The Mineral Tramway Cycle Trail starts at Portreath and continues for 11 miles through the beautiful Cornish countryside to Devoran on the south coast. Cycles can be hired close by. Portreath is a perfect location for touring Cornwall, just 3 miles from the main A30 providing easy access to Penzance, St Ives, Lands End, Falmouth and The Lizard Peninsula. The cathedral city of Truro is just a short drive away with theatre, cinema, bowling and shops. Shop and restaurant 100 yards, pub 50 yards.

Brilliant place to stay location wise, right on the beach, kids absolutely loved it. Cottage was clean and had everything we needed although a dishwasher would have been even better but didnt spoil our holiday. Housekeeper was lovely and kept in touch.Would definitely book again
