The room we had was right beside a main thoroughfare. Door banged all night and our rim shook each time. Cheerios under the bed from previous guest. Pool and hot tub were open and average. For the price it was ok

Staff are welcoming and helpful. A couple of issues: the ice machines in the Selkirk building weren’t working; a pole lighting our room wasn’t working (we couldn’t even find an on switch!); and they’ve stopped supplying muffins in the reception area in the morning 😔 In spite of these shortcomings though, we like staying here, and we’ll be back.

Checked in, got to room, and promptly checked back out with a full refund. Balcony halls to upper floor rooms were FILTHY with sticky spills, the room itself smelled musty. Old fridge that no longer worked but built in to small stovetop kitchenette, that was probably older than I am, was not a good first look. Newer mini fridge next to closet, seemed fine. Spiders in multiple ceiling corners, spills from previous guest on floor by garbage can. Bathroom looked fairly updated, but kids were so freaked out by the spiders, and the questionable cleanliness even of baseboards was a hard NO. Front desk was apologetic. Thankfully, we were able to get a room at another nearby hotel. Pics on Google and expedia profile really NOT accurate. Sandman hotel, unfortunately more like a run down motel. Lobby was the nicest looking part.

Third time staying here and I’ve had nothing but problems with the pool and the staff not being mindful of what’s going on. First time dealt with way too many people in the pool and hot tub, second time drunk guys throwing chairs in the pool, third no towels and a bunch of kids 5-6 of them head first diving into the pool, cannonballing and ruining the time for my small children. When I mentioned that they did nothing about it each time. We have given this place a chance a few times because it’s decently priced with a pool and my daughter loves pools. We won’t be staying here again and we travel through here multiple times a year.

My family and I stayed for 1 night and it was the first time we stayed at this Sandman. It is a good hotel, the rooms are clean and beds are comfy. The room we got had a small kitchen where we were able to prepare a bit of dinner and it’s minimally equipped with the basic things, but only for 3 people, I’m guessing g if you needed more plates and utensils they would provide it. My only complaint is that one of our bath towels was either dirty or stained, but we were 3 people and they had provided 4 towels so I didn’t ask for an extra. Everything else was very clean. The staff at the reception were very amicable and accommodating. We will be staying here again when we come back to Revelstoke.

The manger when we checked in was rude, didn’t acknowledge us for quite a while, they don’t have an elevator for the second floor we had big bags and two little kids. Also not handicapped inclusive AT ALL. Hotel rooms and hallways were dirty for the amount we had to pay. Will never stay there again.
