Was ok, but going downhill fast

The first week was great, staff was helpful and friendly. The second week revealed the issues, lack of general cleaning in public areas and very limited staff present. Broken card reader at entrance for 2 weeks. This place is going downhill fast.

I really loved our stay here! I loved the full fridge, little kitchen area in the room, plenty of outlets, large bathroom with plenty of places to hang your towel, the shower was great/plenty of hot water, and I felt extremely safe because you had to have your room key to enter the hotel at all times. My only wish is that there was a full length mirror in the room, but there is one in the hallway. All in all it was a great stay! I was impressed with it being a newly open hotel for it to be very well organized and staffed well with professional staff.

Gave someone my room key

Some how yall gave somebody else the key to my room and they walked in on my girlfriend naked this was and she really feel very violated and uncomfortable this happened 2-14-25 and she still keep saying something about it,lady at the desk did help after the incident happened gave me a free night but we don’t think that’s enough

New location with some growing pains

The front check in desk was helpful during check in, and the room was clean and orderly with all of the basics needed. The location is obviously set up for extended stays, which is put on the outside of the building. Can’t speak to the stove, fridge, sink, etc in the room, but the shower was nice. The main issue was it is obvious the building is still a slow work in progress or isn’t fully prepared. One of the doors in the side stairwell hasn’t been finished yet, the complementary coffee machine claims it can also serve cold brew (we were unable to get it to work), the chargers out back are not connected to the charging network, so we had to go find a fast charger to charge instead of it being included in our stay (part of the reason we chose to stay here), and the WiFi, which is limited to two devices without paying, had good speed but kicked devices off the network every two minutes requiring us to go through the online portal again (the Ethernet also did not work in the room, but that’s becoming far more common in hotels). This has the potential to be a nice location, a good combination of price, location, and amenities. It, however, is clearly lacking the final polish that should be expected of an open-for-business hotel even if it is new.

Very nice looking, modern hotel. Check-in was quick and every member of the staff I interacted with during my week-long stay were fantastic and attentive.There is lots of parking. Spacious rooms with a lot of shelves. Comfortable beds. I felt secure and safe during my stay. Easy and convenient to shopping and Richmond West. A big PLUS, they cleaned up the snow quickly after a major snow day. Some things I'm hoping are just growing pains and I'm only mentioning them so other guests are aware of what to expect. I'm not taking away stars for these, because overall, my stay was nice and relaxing. They have no automatic doors, and you have to enter 3 doors to the lobby when you go in. Very challenging with luggage. They do not serve breakfast of any type. Full kitchen, but $20 charge to rent kitchenware. No coffeemaker in the room, but they do have free coffee all day in the lobby. Free basic internet (emails, browsing internet). It kept kicking me off the network. It wasn't resolved the whole time I was there, I ended up just using my personal hotspot. $4.95 charge per day for premium (streaming). I don't know if this worked well, I couldn't get basic to work, so I didn’t want to pay for something I probably wouldn't have been able to stay connected to. I'd definitely stay here again if I travel through the area.

I couldn’t regulate the thermostat for heat in the room. Reached out to staff but got no answer. Stayed overnight on Valentine’s Day and heard every moan and groan from the couple next door. They went for what seemed like hours and started over again at the break of dawn. Poor me.

This is a very nice bang for your buck place to stay when in RVA. About 10 miles from downtown if you like the city. Very clean and modern setup and the stay is always nice as Ive been here multiple times already.
