To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to file a serious complaint regarding an extremely upsetting and discriminatory incident that occurred during my stay on October 26, 2025.
One of your employees, Brian, called the police on my family and me — a group of people of color — for absolutely no reason. We were simply standing outside the hotel, which three of us had paid for, when he decided to accuse us of being in a “domestic dispute.” None of us are in a relationship; we are family.
When the police arrived, even they were confused as to why they had been called. It was humiliating, unnecessary, and deeply offensive. To make things worse, Brian added false accusations to our reservation notes, as the morning staff later informed us. He also falsely claimed that there were multiple noise complaints from three different rooms on our floor — even though camera footage and door logs would clearly show that we hadn’t been in the building for hours.
We were actually at the hospital, waiting for heartbreaking news about the passing of a loved one. For Brian to treat us this way during such an emotional time was cruel, racially motivated, and completely unacceptable.
I am furious, hurt, and demanding accountability. I fully intend to press charges, escalate this issue to corporate, and expect a formal investigation into Brian’s actions and how this situation was handled. This was racial profiling and a gross abuse of authority — no paying guest should ever be treated this way.
