To begin with, when checking in the staff didn’t speak to us or ask about payment. After a silent transaction when we received our room key. The stair up to the room shook with every step. The room appeared to be clear and wasn’t bad on the inside however, the landlord special had be done to the bath tub leaving and EXTREMELY slick tub floor( a shower mat or shoes is a MUST) Now regarding the “ complementary” breakfast the next morning….. there was none unless your on a liquid only diet- not a yogurt or muffin to be see unless of course you wanted to pay to open the fridge. I suggest bringing your own breakfast. Apple and orange juice is served along with coffee and tea.

Can’t beat it for the money! Staff was really nice, the entire place was very clean and even the supplied shampoo/soap smelled good! We’ll be staying here a lot visiting Kings Dominion!

The room offers mini kitchen in the room including stove tops, microwave, full-size fridge and freezer and small sink. But there were neither pots and pans nor utensils in the room. Microwave was placed on a shelf where you need to be 6’ tall to use safely. The faucet was broken that it splashed water from the side, and the sink took 15 minutes to drain water. The air from air conditioner smelled like mold so we did not used though it would be very tough to stay if the weather was as nice as it was. The room looked updated some point, but the business does not seem care details and don’t seem to check it before handing keys to customers….just lower quality standard. This is nothing new nowadays, unfortunately….

The staff was very friendly and incredibly helpful. It looks like they have been working to fix the place up. It definitely seen better days. The property was very quiet and I felt safe. My only concern was cleanliness. The toilet had urine around the base that was thick and looks to have not been cleaned in months. The tub had soap from the last tenants still in it which gave me indication it hadn't been cleaned between tenants. Also the tub would not drain which is very unhygenic especially since I was not sure it was cleaned between the last tenants. Finally there was a lot trash and cigarette butts along the grounds.

Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a staycation and planning on going to Kingsdl Dominion. Its literally a 3 mintute walk to park enterance, no need to drive and pay for parking.

Great choice for KD visitors

Location was fantastic. Walked to and from Kings Dominion. Bed comfort was good. Loved full sized fridge with freezer. Shower was good but kept coming full force out of tub at same time. Would definitely stay again. Didn't use pool as we utilized water park that day.

Hotel staff is very friendly and polite. But the room was gross in every possible way. Hair on the floor. Dead bugs. Like the gloor hadn't been clean in a long time. Grime on the walls. Just super gnarly in ways I haven't experienced like ever before. But the bed was comfortable, playground was great, and the pool was enjoyable. So thjs place has lots of potential if it "tried".
