My stay at the Windsor Martinique Hotel during Carnival week was a memorable experience, thanks to its excellent location, comfortable accommodations, and attentive staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a pleasant stay. **Check-In and First Impressions:** Our check-in process was seamless, thanks to Vladimir at the front desk. He was kind, thorough, and highly professional, clearly understanding the importance of hospitality. His welcoming demeanor made us feel valued as guests right from the start. The hotel’s entrance is always staffed with friendly faces, not only to greet guests but also to ensure security, which added a sense of safety and comfort throughout our stay. **The Room:** Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after long days of exploring Rio. The bathroom was modern and tidy, and we appreciated the amenities like the in-room safe and small fridge. However, it would have been a nice touch to have a coffee maker or electric kettle in the room for heating water for tea or instant coffee, especially for those early mornings or late-night cravings. **Housekeeping:** The housekeeping team deserves special recognition. An enjoyable four night stay.

Staff polite and professional. We arrived very early and were offered room at half day rate or leave bags for free and use of roof top pool. Excellent location. Few minutes walk to Copacabana beach. Nearest metro 15 minute walk. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Uber from hotel to GIG airport £9.50. Airport taxi to hotel was £28! Room spacious and clean. Wardrobe and three drawers. Safe for valuables. Very little counter space which was frustrating and we travel very light. Air conditioning very efficient. Room was quiet. Free beach towels in reception. Buffet breakfast very good. Lots of choices.

The staff (specially front desk) was very unfriendly. I had an early flight so arrived before check in time and despite having rooms leaving way before noon, they didn’t prepare any for me until 2 pm. The explanation ‘they enter to clean at noon’. Zero hospitality and service knowledge. I explain to them that i had booked the room for an extra night because my flight was late and since I was waiting and i was going to miss that one breakfast if I could have it the day of check in and they said no… all and all, very bad experience with the staff!

L’hôtel est un excellent rapport qualité/prix. La localisation est parfaite bien que le secteur laisse à désirer la nuit tombée. Des matelas de qualité aideraient grandement à la qualité de l’établissement, de même qu’un prix plus raisonnable sur le petit-déjeuner. Mais ceci dit, ce sera mon choix à Copacabana à l’avenir !

A Great hotel a Great Price

I highly recommend the hotel. 1. It is very well-staffed (over-staffed really) and everyone is extremely helpful and gracious. Your concerns, questions, and requests are immediately acted upon. 2. It is clean and comfortable. 3. It is in an extremely good location, and is just short of one block from the beach, and close to bars, restaurants, stores, etc. and to Ipanema. 4. the neighborhood (including the block from the beach, and Rua de Nossa Senhora de Copacabana, parallel to the beach ) has tons of foot traffic and is safe at least till around 9PM, when stores close. 5. There are safes in each room. 6. Our room was quiet, even though facing the street. 7. Wifi quality was usually good, but sometimes slow. 8. Our room and bathroom were very clean, but there was some rust and mold on the edges of the shower door. - The hotel is very-well maintained, but can use a makeover. I found this a minor inconvenience. 9. The pool is 4 1/2 feet teep (1.5m), and 15 ft long - more of a huge tub than pool. It takes 2-4 strokes to swim a length. The gym is a small room with 2 treadmills, 1 bike, a few light free-weights, and no scale. All in all, this is a great place to stay at a great price, and I will always come back here.

Staff were very polite although surprised that they did not have more information on trips/ bicycle hire etc. but this is only a small negative to what is an amazing location. Supermarket, pharmacy and shops within 100m. There is a full deluxe hotel in the same chain opposite.

Excellent experience! ALL staff without exception made our stay a pleasure. Door staff helpful and attentive. Reception staff polite and efficient. Wonderful barman on the rooftop bar. Lovely range of food for breakfast. A very short walk from the hotel door to cococabana beach.
