This large gite is accessed from the front and back of Les Coumayres and it spread over four floors. There are far reaching panoramic views from some rooms inside the gite across the valley towards the snow capped Pyrenees. Relax with a glass of wine on your outdoor sofa whilst the children play on the terrace and make friends with other children or play the owners cats. You can take a swim in the heated pool, cook delicious local food on the BBQ or in the well equipped modern kitchen. In the gite you'll find all the home comforts, including a log burner for cosy winter evenings. Whether you want a romantic getaway or family friendly holiday you can find it at Les Coumayres, the perfect place to relax and unwind in wild beautiful nature.

Gite Les Cathares has a private terrace with comfy sofa to watch the stars on. There are table and chairs for six people. Inside the rustic gite you'll find a spacious living room overlooking an open plan kitchen and dining area with charming exposed beams and stonework everywhere. The main bedroom is at the top of the house with it's own bathroom and private roof terrace where you have incredible views over the valley or the stars at night. A second bedroom has a double and two single beds with a further bathroom. The kitchen has gas hob and electric oven to cook the produce you buy from the excellent local markets, or if the weather is nice you can use the BBQ on your private terrace. Les Cathares is unique because it also has it's own enormous banquet hall! This is a beautiful and very large 16th Century room which is normally used by larger groups to spend time together but it's all yours for your holiday. There's also a children's play room, medium size snooker table and old piano. Les Coumayres is a friendly place and you'll meet like minded people who want to unwind and enjoy the unspoilt rugged nature of the Haut Langeudoc, Children love to be here, making friends easily, playing with the owner's cats, exploring the tracks and the large garden, swimming in the heated pool, playing the the adventure playground and being free to explore and enjoy the beautiful settings. We also have a glamping site with two domes, a couple of minutes walk from the house. In the evening relax with a glass of wine whilst the terrace and house are lit by lighting, giving the house and gardens a magical and calm atmosphere. Or enjoy a family friendly movie night, hosted by the owners and held on the terrace under the stars. Les Coumayres has all you need whether you're wanting a romantic getaway or family friendly holiday.
