This beautiful lodge is privately situated in its own large garden on the owner’s small farmstead in the delightful village of Laverton which is set just outside the wonderful cathedral city of Ripon. The lodge is very peaceful, quiet and the outlook is just stunning. Blackberry Lodge has all the mod-cons you would expect from a holiday home and offers families, couples, and friends a perfect holiday retreat whilst being ideally located to explore all that the Nidderdale, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and surrounding areas have to offer. The living area is open plan and is a very comfortable, cosy and a great place to kick back and relax in after a jam-packed day. The kitchen and dining areas have everything you would need and plenty of space for food preparation along with a dining table which seats four people giving a great area to have a family meal or socialise on an evening. There are two bedrooms, the master bedroom offers a plush kingsize bed and the second with bunk beds ideal for children, all beds have fresh quality linen guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep, and the shower room completes the inside of this property. The lodge has its own large private garden with a superb, decked veranda and large lawned area ideal for a glass of fizz al fresco style although you may have to share it with the odd hen!

The lodge is aimed at visitors who love beautiful countryside, peace and quiet and a rural ambience. Although you are very secluded here, you are within walking distance of the nearest well provisioned village of Kirkby Malzeard which has a great butcher, village shop, church, and playground. The market town of Masham 10 minutes away, is a gateway to the dales with stunning countryside and lots of interesting places to visit like Jervaulx and Fountains Abbey. Ripon is only around 7 miles away and has good independent shops and lots of places to eat, plus the famous cathedral. You will be spoilt for choice for places to visit when staying at Blackberry lodge, so why not book a couple of extra days!
