It was in a great location. Valet parking was great! Front desk was amazing. The room was not clean, dirty light switches, water spots on sink and tub which easily wiped off with my wash cloth. : ( The carpet was smelly/dirty. All of this made me question the bedding, even though it seemed clean.

We were in Rochester for medical appointments and so the convenience to the Mayo clinic was of utmost importance. We were well received by hotel staff and found the room clean and ready and comfortable. Compared to some hotels there were sufficient plug ins to power and charge our devices. It was a good stay..

The shower was unusable, it would switch from scalding hot (like burn you hot) to freezing every 10 seconds. Other reviews point this out, it's not a bad room they clearly have a major plumbing flaw. While the hotel was quite, I assume due to nice guest, you can hear everything through the walls (adjusting blinds or quite conversations). It was at least clean, I wouldn't stay here again.

Just eh.

Clean room. Beds were horribly uncomfortable. Feather pillows on the bed, which posed some issues with allergies. Chair in the room wheel broke, thankfully we weren't charged. The staff were very friendly. Pool was wonderful. Hot tub was great, perfectly hot. Handicap accessible pool area. Parking situation is a little iffy, but manageable.

Great location for Mayo visits. Connected to the lower level walkways, shops, etc. Older building but remodeled and nicely maintained. Only one mark against it - room number directional signage was incorrect on the 6th floor. Needs fixed. Sent us in the wrong direction.

Expensive but convenient

The only reason we stay at the Kahler Grand is it’s close to Mayo Clinic. I feel it’s expensive just to stay there for less than a day.
