We arrived in the dark, so it was interesting finding the right house! It’s in town, but off the beaten path. Very close to Berry, which is what we needed. Easy drive to downtown. It was too cold and rainy to enjoy the deck and way too early for the pool, but it would offer lots of opportunity for outdoor time. Overall, great location. Giving a four out of five because the fridge was a little dirty at check in and the cabinets, while well stocked, were a bit scattered. Beds were comfortable. The bathrooms are small, but updated. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again.

Nice location in quiet neighborhood, very relaxing setting. We enjoyed watching the deer wander through the property! The space was great for our family (grandparents, parents, kid) and the house had all the amenities we needed. Kitchen was very well stocked. Host was very responsive. Would stay there again!

Della’s place was the perfect spot for our tennis team that came to Rome to play in the USTA Southern tournament. The two houses provided plenty of room for us to spread out and we spent our afternoons floating in the pool. We all loved it and would definitely stay again if we make it back! Everything was clean and comfortable!

I lived in Rome for many years and came back for the weekend. When I was looking for a place to stay and saw the name of the host, I knew this was the place. I knew Della previously and she is amazing and responded immediately to all of my questions. I assumed this place would be nice, but it exceeded all my expectations! This is a home… not some sparsely furnished hole in the wall. Everything was spotless, extra blankets and pillows, plenty of towels. All the switches are labeled so you know exactly what light/fan you are turning on! Just tons of extra touches. The outside setup is also amazing. The pool was crystal clear and ready to use. We had a great time and will definitely stay again.

Nice resting place for a busy weekend

We had such a lovely time at this charming house! The owner is incredibly thoughtful and kind. The beds are so comfy, and we're grateful for a cozy spot during the busy Ultimate Regional game weekend at Berry! Wish the weather was warmer so that we can enjoy the big pool in the backyard! Maybe next time!

This was our second year staying at this location. Perfect size for the four adults and two kids under the age of four. Extremely comfortable beds, nice size bathrooms, and full kitchen make it easy to stay multiple days. Never been when the weather would allow for use of the pool, but being a pool owner myself, the setup is very nice and would be a great addition to the stay. Owners are very nice, reply quickly, and are easy to work with. Will look to book again in the future.

Excellent location and home

My family stayed here while in town for our son’s wedding. The location to downtown Rome was perfect and easy to get to quickly. The home was clean and had updated furniture and comfortable beds. Loved the porches both in front of the house and out back. The property was beautiful with all the trees and enjoyed the privacy too. Della was wonderful with communication! We hope to stay again next time we are in town!

Great Stay

We appreciated that the property was close to downtown Rome but in a country setting. Cleanliness and bed comfort are very important to us, and the cottage supplied both. Our friends enjoyed the swimming pool, which was very clean and inviting. The large covered parking area stopped us from getting wet on the one day it rained. Everything we needed was supplied. Della and Cindy are great hosts, and we would stay here again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This property is conveniently located near downtown Rome and close to Berry College. It was the perfect size for our party of 5. The back deck/patio was great for early morning coffee and afternoon get-togethers. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our weekend. The house was clean and as pictured. It was well stocked with kitchen items and much appreciated coffee. The linens and towels were of good quality and the beds were comfortable. The porches and decks were nice for relaxing outdoors. It was convenient to town and we had a great time shopping and dining in Rome.
