The room I occupied had all the essentials needed for a pleasant overnight stay without wasteful spending on unecessary items. The room was clean, the mattress was very comfortable, although fairly close to the highway, there was very little noise. The managers were very pleasant and tolerant of my lame UFO inquiries, which I suppose they must put up with frequently!. If traveling through Roswell again, I would certainly be willing to stay at the Budget Inn.

We rented this room because literally it was the only room left in the city. it is an old hotel. you could see they try their best to keep it in good shape but bathroom wasn't clean, mattresses were old, overall it wasn't worth the money we paid.

Falling Apart

The room needed to be stripped to the wall studs. There were gaps arounds squares of hastily repaired drywall, drips of calk or plaster on the floor and walls. There was rot around the door frames. The smoke detector was missing. At least the bed was clean.
