Summary:
Soak in the private spa pool after a day on the Redwoods trails - this sunny three-bedroom Lynmore home sits just minutes from the Whakarewarewa Forest, Rotorua's mountain-biking and walking playground. Sleeping up to seven, with a huge under-house garage built for bikes and gear, it suits families, biking groups and anyone after an easy Rotorua base. The wide deck catches the sun all day, the supermarkets and cafes are a short drive away, and the spa is ready whenever you are.
The Space:
The home offers three bedrooms and easy open-plan living. The master has a queen bed and opens straight onto the deck for a relaxed indoor-outdoor flow. The second bedroom has a queen, and the third is set up for families with a bunk bed plus a single pull-out, sleeping up to three. There is one full bathroom with a bath and shower, plus a separate toilet for busy mornings. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking in, the living area is warm and comfortable, and the dining table seats the whole group. Downstairs, a large double garage gives you secure, dry storage for mountain bikes, e-bikes and gear - one of the things our biking guests mention most. Out on the sunny deck you'll find the spa pool, outdoor seating and a BBQ, all overlooking the garden.
Guest Access:
You have the whole house and grounds to yourselves: all three bedrooms, the bathroom and separate toilet, the kitchen, living and dining areas, the sunny deck, garden and BBQ, and the under-house garage for your bikes. Self check-in via the key safe makes arrival easy whatever time you land. Free parking is available on the driveway and on the street, and there is fast Wi-Fi throughout.
The Neighborhood:
Lynmore is one of Rotorua's most popular suburbs - quiet, leafy and safe, with the Whakarewarewa Redwood Forest right on the doorstep for mountain biking, running and forest walks. The Blue and Green Lakes (Tikitapu and Rotokakahi) are a short drive for a swim or a paddle, and the geothermal attractions and lakefront are close by too. For everyday needs, supermarkets (Woolworths and Pak'nSave), cafes, restaurants and takeaways are all just a few minutes away.
Getting Around:
A car is the easiest way to get around Rotorua and make the most of the lakes and forest, and there is free parking on site and on the street. For those without a car, a bus stop is just around the corner on Lynmore Avenue, and the Redwoods trailheads are close enough to ride or walk to. Rotorua city centre and the airport are both a short drive away.
Other Things to Note:
A few honest notes so you know what to expect: this is a comfortable, well looked-after family home rather than a brand-new build - clean, practical and good value. The third bedroom's bunks and pull-out are ideal for children, though we do not supply toys or games, so pack favourites for younger ones. Rotorua winters are cool, so bring warm layers for the evenings. The house is on a quiet residential street with neighbours close by, so please keep outdoor noise down after 10pm. Check-in is self-service via the key safe, and there are exterior-only security cameras on the property.
Interaction with Guests:
We are a local Rotorua team and we are reachable by phone, message or email throughout your stay. We keep in touch as much or as little as you like, and if something needs sorting we will get onto it quickly. If you would like local tips - the best trails, where to eat, which lake to swim - just ask.
