Rustic Cozy Cabin at the base of Greenhorn Mountian

Bigfoot is waiting to welcome you to Bearlane’s cabin on Graneros Creek sitting at the base of Greenhorn Mountain in Rye, Co. Only 45 minutes south of Pueblo, this rustic 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin sleeps up to 6 people and a dog under 50lbs ($35 Fee) Sitting near a relaxing running creek, in a quiet neighborhood, and among multiple 50’ pines, you will experience many of nature’s greatest gifts such as deer, Abert squirrels, foxes, and on some occasions, bears and mountain lions.

NOW available!!! The Cub Cave, is separate and set back from the main cabin. Sleeps 3 and is for those who want to get a little closer to nature. It is available to book for an additional $35 (plus Vrbo fees) per night. Contact host 24 hours before check in time to reserve.

A full kitchen with basic items, a tv with streaming apps, a DVD player (and a lot of movies), and multiple games are just some of the features that await you on the inside. Depending on the time of the year you visit, you may experience the natural water slides at San Isabel (15 minutes away), Hollydot Golf Course (15 minutes away) World Famous Bishop’s Castle (25 minutes away) beautiful San Isabel Lake 20 minutes away) and numerous hiking trails all around.
We now have a kayak and a paddle board at the cabin to rent, contact host for that information. If you are visiting during the summer season, you are able to Kayak or fish at beautiful San Isabel Lake, go sliding down the natural water slide, hike the trails, BBQ on the patio, play cornhole, ride bikes (we have 6 bikes of assorted sizes) golf at Hollydot Golf Course, or relax in the hammock while listening to the relaxing sound of the creek 20 feet away. If you are visiting during the winter season, you are able to enjoy a nice day on San Isabel Lake ice fishing, experience many miles of trials of snowshoeing, and laugh while sledding at San Isabel or down Linger Longer Lane, all while coming back to the warm crackling fireplace waiting for you, or if you are looking to escape while still having to work, connect to our wifi and sit by the creek and get the best of both worlds.

The charge is per stay with a maximum of 6 guests. Guests over this limit (other than for the Cubcave) will be charged $15 per extra guests cleaning fee.

Check out is promptly at 10:30 AM. Late Check out will incur a $50 per hour fee.

Great little cabin

Great little cabin, cozy, and well stocked and the host was very responsive. There is only one dedicated bedroom (the two twin beds are in an open space just off of the living room, so keep that in mind if you're booking for more than one couple/family).Lots of little touches to make you feel welcome and comfortable and the outdoor space is very inviting. We were there early in the season, so the cabins to the right and left were very quiet.

Amazing!!

We loved everything! We were all so impressed with the comfort and relaxation in the cabin, the attention to detail allowed us to just spend time together without hardly any prep work. The close access to local restaurants and attractions were also a huge convenience. We will most definitely be visiting again!!

This property is not only as described in listing, it is better. Cabin is super clean and plenty of supplies. The lot is beautiful and the creek is amazing. We spent the week of Christmas here and it was wonderful.

Great little forest getaway!

These hosts put a lot of care and work in to making this cabin a wonderful experience for guests. The location was great, Cara, the host, was great, the cabin was super clean, and we appreciated all of the little details that made our stay perfect!

Weekend getaway

What a gorgeous property. From the moment you walk in to the minute you leave, you're wrapped in cozy feelings. I could sit in the back all day listening to the stream and smelling the amazing fresh air, then go inside and snuggle up in front of the fireplace with a good book or movie. We definitely plan on making this a yearly getaway to recharge.

Epic get away.

An experience we will never forget. Let me start by saying that the hosts are amazing. Their attention to detail is truly appreciated. We had many options for things to do locally during our stay.However the property is so awesome that we stayed at the cabin the entire time. Sitting around the fire pit. Listening to the sound of the creek, Barbecuing, and having the time of our life. If you're planning a weekend or an extended stay this is the spot. We are already planning our next trip.

Cozy, peaceful, and relaxing cabin/property.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin is decorated perfectly and has everything we needed. The property also has everything needed. We loved the different areas to sit and enjoy the outdoors. We appreciated the grill and charcoal provided which afforded us the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful steak dinner one night. The dog bowls and treats provided for our dog were also appreciated. We travel with bowls for our dog's food and water but they are not as big as we like so the bowls provided were a big help. Check in and out was very easy. We would definitely recommend this wonderful property to anyone looking for a nice get away.

We enjoyed our stay at this quiet little cabin. We went hiking, golfing, and eating at the Rye Cafe and Three Sisters. Would definitely recommend for a quiet weekend.

The hosts of this Cabin truly deserve a 10 . Our stay was full of fun & sweet surprises. My husband & I found all we needed and more. The cabin is charming inside and out. Nature and convenience in abundance. The notebook left for the guests was fun to read and we agreed with all poetically written reviews! Will stay there again once we come back to visit my nephew & family.

Wonderful cabin

This is our second stay at this cabin and we truly love it. We stayed with our two girls and dog and the cabin was cozy, but comfortable. The host is incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. I feel like they bed over backwards to make sure you have a great stay. The creek in the backyard is definitely a highlight and we love to spend hours sitting by it.

Just a dream!

Our stay was wonderful! Cara is so sweet and informative! They have thought of everything you would need for your stay and they even accommodate your fur babies! We did not bring ours this time but will definitely bring them next time! My son and his friend had a blast in the creek, visiting Bishop’s castle, fishing and making s'more's every night by the fire pits! The Cabin was the perfect size and fit all of our needs during our stay! We will be back hopefully next year and tell all of our friends!!

Getaway

The cabin was very clean, warm and welcoming. The cabin had everything we needed and what made it even better was the creek that runs directly behind the property. Our stay was peaceful and tranquil. Cara was so attentive and responsive to all our needs and questions. Our fur babies loved the big fluffy pillow and kennel she provided.
