Considering the fact people had to walk around the construction zone on the property one would have thought the front desk people would have been more inviting. I found some of them to be short and unconcerned about the inconvenience caused by the construction nor my overall needs.

When we arrived our room was not clean. There was hair in the shower drain and the comforter was soiled. The manager did move us to a better room, but the bed was still uncomfortable and there was construction going on. Not what I would normally expect from a Marriott property.

Clean room, but very simple. No paintings on the walls, basic furniture - a kind of an odd feeling like I was in an unfinished hotel, not the typical Marriott. AC unit old and very noisy during the night. Gym was well equipped.

Chore was under construction and they still charged to park though there was very limited parking space. In fact, I couldn’t even park near the hotel. Other than that the stay was fine. Hotel is clean and staff is friendly.

Courtyard by Marriott Sacramento Folsom was good except for no bottles of water were given to us but were given to other guests (who apparently did not book thru Hotels.com), $12 daily parking fee even though the hotel was not in a busy area, and the elevator seemed so old that I was surprised it did not have any issues.
