This was a lovely property. They do need to renovate the rooms soon. It was a comfortable bed. It was a comfortable size. I was pleased overall. The hangers are nice. I was really upset there was no bathtub because I booked for a bathtub, but the view on the 9th floor almost made up for it. The food ordering system is sloppy and dysfunctional. It ordered my food three times on my side so I called and it was only once on their side. I had to select "pay upon arrival" for the food but then it was a room charge when they arrived anyways. They should make the coffees larger than 8 oz for room delivery. The coffee in the rooms is gross. The soap in the showers smells very musky and masculine to me. The shower itself is spacious and nice. I couldn't figure out where the gym is. I didn't know there was a hot tub. I think the amenity locations could be described better. I would gladly stay here again. Stunning views. Gorgeous lobby. Good food. The bottoms of the balcomies make me nervous. I'm sure you're looking into the safety of those rust and water damage spots... The rooms and public areas were very clean. Though the rooms are older, they are cleaned and well kept. The television functioned better than most hotels I have stayed at. The location is convenient to everything but the noise is to be expected for downtown. Last but not least, the toilet was very small and weird for me. I recommend a larger seat. It feels like a training seat for a toilet.

Still a good place to stay

I was delighted to use my hotels.com points to stay at the Sheraton for a fraction of the cost of other hotels in the downtown SLC area. I had stayed at the Sheraton a few years ago and remembered it was a nice place. I was glad to see it still was. Everything was seamless from check-in until we left. The parking is so nice too. A little walk to the Salt Palace but not too bad.
