We stayed at this hotel for a full week, and we definitely will go back. The location is great, and the staff was wonderful. If you’re looking for something different in the Dominican Republic, Hotel Alesi is the place you want to go.

Overall we loved our stay. The downside is the bedding duvet was uncomfortably scratchy and the apartment could use some updates. I don’t mind things being old but the kitchen counter was quite stained, the sofa/twin bed cushion had a cigarette burn and there were little things throughout that if updated would make the unit much nicer. Also, it was stated that there’s daily housekeeping but our second of three nights they only put a couple towels in the unit and did not take the dirty towels or make the beds or clean in any way. Other than that we found the property lovely and most of the staff great. It was a nice oasis and we’d be happy to stay again.

Hotel Alisei is quaint and charming. No frills but everything you need. Very clean property throughout. Cute pool, excellent spa and massage. Lovely beach right across the little street with a nice bar and food. The staff is attentive and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. Very good complimentary breakfast, too. Conveniently located to other points of interest. Highly recommend Hotel Alisei if you’re in Las Terrenas.

We loved everything about our stay, including the delicious breakfast. The beach is clean and perfect for long walks in the sand, and the sea is great for swimming in certain spots. The only downside was the on-site restaurant—it just wasn’t for us, so we opted to have dinner elsewhere each night.

Overall, very very satisfied.

The staff and the grounds and our condo were far above average. We felt that, compared to nearby hotels where we have stayed in past years, Alisei offered a better experience for the money. Our condo had some repairs that were needed but it didn't detract from our experience. We felt safe, happy, satisfied and well taken care of. Note that at the time of our visit the guests were mostly retirees or families with young children.

Welcoming hotel, a sanctuary away from the noise and right on the beach. Excellent chef and exceptional dishes. The spa is also excellent. Loved this place: it manages to maintain a quaint ambiance in the midst of a growing beach community. Highly recommended.
