Management has failed entirely. My son was injured by an electrical cord that had an exposed wire, the wire was the “hot” wire of the lamp cord. This gave him a pretty bad shock when he sat down on the chair in the room, the lamp started to flicker. He noticed the cord was under the chair leg, when he went to move the chair, the chair had already broken through the jackets of the wire from previous guests sitting on the chair and subsequently damaging the wire. I brought this to attention to staff. It was brushed off as nothing. No sign of concern or any action to correct the problem. Earlier in the morning before that incident the manager was quite literally pounding on the door, woke me up (I work nights) asking if I was extending my stay. I had a reservation for that day. When I said that his response was “well I should have communicated that” a reservation in your system is communicating. And to have the response of the pounding immediately, highly unprofessional and doesn’t match the 9.4 rating review you supposedly have. All of these issues were brought to your attention, and still you have yet to contact me. Hotels .com reached out as well. I’m getting a lawyer at this point. You had plenty of time to prevent this review. And to show just the smallest amount of concern for my son. It’ll all come out in the was now.
