Great place to stay for what we needed it for. Booked the King Suite with Balcony for 2 nights for my anniversary. The view was a little rough, but still pleasant to sit out and enjoy. The room and hotel are clean, and service was good. There is a restaurant with a good bar downstairs and a nice coffee shop as well. I gave this hotel 4/5 stars because you have to pay for parking. They only off valet parking which is $40/night, or you have to pay to park in the parking lot outside which is $18.75/hour.

The hotel didn't look like the pictures. My bathroom in the room wasn't clean. They sent someone to clean the tub because a hairball was in the bottom. The housekeeping never cleaned it.

I didn’t like that I inquired about getting a late check out and the person at the front desk wasn’t sure how to request that. Said she would contact the manager of housekeeping, but then said she couldn’t get ahold of her and would talk to her manager. And after asked if I could call back later, so I just gave up. I also didn’t like that I tried to get in the pool at 9:30am on Saturday (pool hours started at 9am). And pool was closed, I had to go back up to my room and call the front desk. I called the front desk, took about 10-15 min for someone to get there an unlock the door for the pool, and then employee had to test water/put chlorine. So I ended up not getting in the pool because it was going to take so long for it to be ready.

We had a Jr. suite at the end of the 6th floor. The rug in the room was filthy and the toilet seat was broken and you could tell it had been spray painted!! The toilet seat!! How much does it cost to change a toilet seat? I love a good boutique hotel, but this one only looks good from a distance. Also front desk staff was rude and couldn’t be bothered with checking people in, she kept signing. Location was at the end of the more popular section of the river walk and we got to listen to homeless men screaming from our balcony which was a nice ending to the evening. We won’t be back and suggest you find somewhere else.
