The House Cleaning was very slow and we never had our room cleaned the entire time. They came, but it was late in the afternoon and by then it was too much of an inconvenience.

I really liked this hotel! It's in a great location in SD because it's close to the freeways so if you wanted to drive to La Jolla, Convoy, Downtown SD, North Park, etc it wouldn't take too long! And if you just wanted to stay local to the area, it's just down the road from all the yummy food on Mira Mesa Blvd which is extra convenient. I also loved the free breakfast buffet in the mornings, which was super yummy and such a nice way to start the day! The rooms were clean and come with a microwave and mini fridge, perfect for if you have leftovers from eating out. The only real inconvenience is that the walls are pretty thin so you can hear everyone in the adjacent rooms, as well as the footsteps of those in the room above, so it wasn't always super quiet especially if you wanted to enjoy a morning sleeping in. We did stay during a holiday weekend, however, so the noise was understandable and not a complete deal breaker. Overall I'd definitely stay here again as I find the check in/check out times and the location very convenient. Highly recommend!

Room in good condition. Staff was helpful. Room comes with free continental breakfast, which helps when you have kids. Had issues with the TV signal on level 1. Moved to level 3 and it was fine. Parking $22/night, a lil pricey for not being gated. We saw a lot of ppl street parking.

Bishop room 368 6 nights. Very much enjoyed front desk staff and bartenders. Very friendly and personable. My ONLY recommendation is please get the smokers off the front walk way and create an area across from the front door on the knoll. Very nice hedge there. Add a couple outdoor benches and ashtrays. It is well lit at night and out of the way for us smokers. We are considered outcasts and having us stand on the walkway makes it worse. Ugly comments are not necessary so put us out of view comfortably. Thank you for a great business trip. See you again in April. This was my second time spending a week here. Loved it. Thank you. This was a difficult trip because I was there to watch my grand baby while my daughter was in the hospital. The staff was aware of the situations and found ways to accommodate our needs without us having to ask. I am forever grateful for the staff that helped us through this difficult time.
