I've stayed at this property three other times, each time booking two rooms, but this was the worst experience thus far. I called ahead to request rooms on the same floor and was told it would happen. When I get to check-in, the rooms were on different floors and the elevators were chronically slow. I was then told I would get the $60 overnight parking refunded, but on check out I was charged anyway and had to return to the hotel to ask for the $60 credit again. Disappointed the service was not as prompt as I had experienced each of the other times I had stayed.

Everything outside of the hotel room was amazing. Tacos for breakfast?! YESSSS!!!! The games in the atrium were also an added benefit. Inside the hotel room, it was like living in college. Kids running back and forth in the hallways and in the room directly above us were daunting. It was hard to rest and think with that noise.

My room was next to the elevator and above the railroad tracks so it was very hard to sleep. When I asked if it was possible to switch rooms, the front desk was somewhat short with me stating they were full. Otherwise everyone was friendly.

This property was able to house 6 of us in one room that was so awesome! We came here for our friends 50th bday party and it was so convenient, close to everything, from shops, food, the ocean, Loved the happy hour next door, the breakfast was great and I would highly recommend this location. They also let us check in super early and that was a HUGE plus! I would go back again and again!

The Homewood Suites Hotel is an amazing home away

We love staying at the Homewood Suites on the Bay everytime we are in SanDiego. Not only is the property clean, visually appealing, and comfortable, the location is perfect! Close to the airport, and walking distance to Little Italy, Seaport Village, the USS Midway and many more sites, it is ideally located! The customer service is excellent as are the amenities. Totally recommend staying here when you’re in San Diego!

It was a one night stay- we arrived late but our room was ready to go. The pillows were not very comfortable but the mattress and sheets were comfortable Towels were good quality Valet parking charge was too expensive! $60

After reading the reviews on yelp I had some reservations about this booking but I was pleasantly surprised. Parking was easy, with and without valet, staff was extremely pleasant and approachable, and rooms were clean to a T. We enjoyed our stay, thank you.
