As soon as I arrived the staff were welcoming and attentive. I appreciated the check in text staff did throughout the day to ensure I needed everything for my stay. It was walking distance to everything in downtown San Diego. Would recommend.

I recently stayed at the Pali Hotel in San Diego and overall thought it was very cute. The staff, including the valet team, were all wonderful, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I love that they reached out prior to my visit via text and helped answer several of the questions I had within a timely manner. Their service really stood out. The reason I’m giving this stay 3 stars, though, is because of the noise coming from downstairs and nearby businesses. I was on the 8th floor and still wasn’t able to sleep due to how loud it was at night. It honestly sounded like my windows were open, but they weren’t, I checked several times. There just didn’t seem to be any insulation to block out the noise… I understand that the hotel is in an older building (the elevator definitely shows that charm), but the lack of soundproofing made the night really difficult. If noise is a concern, this is something to be aware of. Otherwise, the hotel itself and the staff were great.
