This home was perfect for our family gathering over New Year's. The home is very comfortable..we had 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 5-16) and so we didn't want a sterile, showpiece house that we felt we couldn't be ourselves in. Cia and Charlie were excellent hosts, answered all our questions, and provided a lovely home. The many beautiful plants made it feel extra special.

the house is conveniently located, has plenty of room, the only negative i can say is NO AIR CONDITIONING, we were lucky, the outside temperature stayed below 75, and there was a good breeze

Everything We Needed & More

Our visit to San Diego was that much better because of our accomodations. The house had everything we needed and more! It was so great to be able to spend the day galevanting and be able to come back and relax for dinner. The kids and adults enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. If our family is headed back to San Diego I would definitely book here again! Enoguh space that you can still get your quiet time if needed.

The place was amazing. The house had everything we needed and some extras. Large enough for all 10 of us and very clean! Close to alll attractions and the airport. If ever back in SD for a trip we would definitely stay here. The owners were SUPER!!

This is our 4th time staying here and we absolutely love it. All of the essentials are available, the space is comfortable, the pool and hot tub are lovely, the neighborhood is quiet, easy access to restaurants and stores. Terrific house and location. We visited with my two toddlers as well as four 80 year olds and the house was perfect. It was great to have three bedrooms on the main floor for the older people so they didn’t need to go up and down the stairs. The deck and balcony were awesome and our kids loved watching all of the planes from the deck and dining room. The kitchen was well stocked and the pool was lovely. Will definitely stay again in the future. Couldn’t have asked for better hosts.

Room , room , room

We had a family including a 1 year old crawler . There was a quiet room upstairs for naps. The 3 levels allowed so much room and gathering areas. The view esp. from the upstairs balcony was terrific esp. for the 4th of July fireworks. The pool and hot tub were perfect. We were close to a grocery store and easy drive to the beach. All the toys towels and umbrellas made for light packing on our part. Great response from owners! Great vacation spot!!!

Point Loma views!

We thought the property was very appropriate for the family, with multiple entertainment areas to bring us all together. The house was well-stocked with everything we needed to enjoy the property and our trip. We felt at home all week. Location-wise, it couldn’t have been better! We were no more than 20 minutes from all of our desired attractions and destinations.

Comfortable home, great location, kid friendly

This home had everything you could ever want. Really felt like home. Awesome views, clean pool with lots of pool toys, clean hot tub. Well appointed kitchen and good coffee maker. Very comfortable beds. Outdoor balconies had plenty of seating to enjoy the views and lights of San Diego.

Awesome Experience

Cia and Charlie's house in Point Loma was a perfect fit for our group of 10 family members, ages 4 months to 85 years. It was located about 5 minutes from our convention venue near shelter island as well as lots of great food options (and a Ralphs just down the street) in Point Loma. We had downstairs bedrooms for the older ones who had trouble with stairs, a kitchen that was better stocked than most of the rentals we've stayed in, an amazing pool and hot tub, and THOSE VIEWS! The upper story has a deck that is perfect for watching sunrise, sunset, or the nightly fireworks from Seaworld. It also has a table inset fire pit with outdoor heaters above the space to keep everyone warm once the sun goes down. We love, love, LOVED this place, and would definitely stay here again. Cia was great with instructions and comms before our stay, and Charlie met us at the house and gave us a very thorough overview of the property and all of its features. Overall, a place that is well located (5-10 minutes to Ocean Beach or SeaWorld or Shelter Island or the airport), provided by people who were awesome hosts, featuring a property that offered everything our group wanted, and more. I couldn't recommend this house, and Cia and Charley, more highly. Thank you for allowing us to experience this wonderful house!

Love this place and the owners are awesome

As victims of the IT outage resulting in our flight being cancelled and rescheduled days later, we unfortunately didn't get the chance to enjoy all of our reserved days at this outstanding property. We will definitely try to arrange staying here in the future if the owners would have us. In addition to the pool, jacuzzi, grill and ping pong table where the awesome views and daily fireworks from Se World. This is probably as close to heaven on earth as it gets!

Central location with a great swimming pool!

A great week for our family of 10! We were so close to the sights we wanted to see and then we could cool off at the house in the pool. Plenty of room for everyone and fantastic hosts.

Great home away from home vacation

There was ten of us (6 adults and 4 children). The space was perfect and the pool was awesome. We cooked a lot and the space was great for that. The spaces to just chill indoor and out was great!

60th birthday celebration- Great time had by 9 gals from Wyoming!!!

Fabulous pool and outdoor accomodations. Hot tub was very relaxing. Loved watching the Sea world fireworks every night.

Celebration of our birthdays

We loved this house and everything about it. Lots of bathrooms for our group of 10. Five large bedrooms.spce for little ones to watch a show while adults visited without disturbing them. Outdoor pool, hot tub ,pung pong table and competitive bean bag toss

Point Loma house

Great house for family to share, close to the city but also on the path of the airplanes. San Diego airport is in the city. Great views from patios. Family lives in the home when they are not renting so well stocked. Lovely family but family member stopped by unannounced a few times which we did not appreciate. After talking to the owner, it stopped. We paid $100/day to heat the pool; that seemed a bit high but we paid it to have the comfort of swimming in December.

Thanksgiving family gathering

Comfortable spacious private property with patio & outdoor decks provided beautiful sunrise views, where we were also entertained by cruise ships arrivals. The location was perfect for our group as shops & airport proximities allowed us to minimize drive time & maximize our time with family!

Family Girl's Weekend

We had a fantastic girls get-away weekend. There were 11 of us. The house is spacious with plenty of room and activities for everyone. The pool was a big plus. The location was perfect. It was an easy launching pad for all of our weekend excursions. We were within in 10-20 minutes of everything. The property was clean and accurate to the listing. The hosts were friendly and very easy to interact with. Check-in and Check-out was super easy.

Great Way to Visit San Diego

We had a great time in San Diego & our accommodations were a big part of that. The house provided plenty of room for the entire family (7 adults & 3 children). Everything we needed (towels, cleaning supplies, pots & pans, etc) were available. The pool was enjoyed by the family everyday. The location was excellent for visiting the many areas & tourist attractions of San Diego. Everything we wanted to see was within a short drive. Beaches, the zoo, Old Town, groceries & other places were a short distance away. Cia & Charlie were easily accessible to address the few questions that we had. They were very easy to work with through the entire process from reserving to check out. No real complaints about anything. The biggest issue was the refrigerator door did not finish closing automatically & therefore we had to ensure to give it an extra push to ensure it was closed. Not a big deal but want people reading this review to know that we didn't have any real issues.
